🚀 Kids Day at AGNTCon + MCPCon North America. Unforgettable proud dad moment! ❤️
Yesterday, my 12-year-old son (Ipsit) attended Kids Day at AGNTCon + MCPCon North America at McEnery Convention Center San Jose 🇺🇸, and what an incredible experience it was!
He has already built ects and games but for this project he adopted the Goose @goose_oss + Godot @madewithgodot to build this basic game in 15 min.
🙏 What made me even freaking prouder was the connections he made and the impression he put on this event, especially coming all the way from London 🇬🇧. It was great watching him confidently take the stage, present (with "Wow!" and "Woo!" reactions from the audience) and connect with incredible builders and other smart kids during the whole event. Everywhere I looked he was always surrounded by people all the time. I felt like he was hero of the event 😂
A huge thank you to the @AgenticAIFdn @linuxfoundation for creating such a wonderful opportunity for young builders. Thanks @Docker and @neo4j for hosting. Thanks to the Kids Day mentors @cassandraonjava and Nyah Macklin and everyone who encouraged him, listened to his ideas, and made him feel part of this incredible community.
Big thanks to @jykfan for listening to his vision and legend @techgirl1908 for letting him in the event + @steveonjava for creating this space. As event + Conference organiser, I would definitely happy make contribution to future of next generation.
🎥 Here's a glimpse of his presentation. A small video from my phone, but a memory I'll cherish for long time!
Next up, to showcase his main projects to Silicon Vally tech bros!

I'm so excited to continue building @Sannrhq, focusing on building verifiable API context for coding agents.
Can't wait for the next AgntCon + MCPCon!

As a Goose maintainer, I know how much work goes into giving users a choice of models. We support more than 80 model providers, and keeping those integrations working is a lot of work.
It's a drag managing the differences in tool calls, streaming, and model behavior across dozens of providers.
Thankfully, Open Responses standardizes the LLM API format, so AI developers can write and maintain one integration instead of a separate adapter for each one.

Education has changed forever. Obviously, when you can just talk to an agent and ask it any question you have, and it can answer you with all of the context of your project or anything else, you'll just go to the agent instead of buying a course. This is why my course sales have tanked this year.
No, I'm not mad. It's fine. I'm just trying to figure out the best way I can still provide value to the world and take care of my family. I'm not writing this to make you feel bad about me. I'm just telling you that education is different.
That leads to the question: Are we post-education now?
Do you need to be educated, or can you just talk to the agent anytime you run into any problem? I think that we are not post-education. I think that there will always be things that humans want to and need to learn to get more satisfaction out of life, do more things that they want to do, and maximize their efficiency and productivity in creating value in the world.
The trick is: what do you learn that's actually durable and valuable? That's a big question, and that's part of what I'm going to be teaching during my week of MEGA.dev. Education has changed in a hugely positive way. Education now has the ability to leverage agents to teach you in your context and on your level.
Yes, learners have access to agents to help them, but the teachers have access to agents as well. What I'm seeing from the MEGA.dev team and all the things that they're doing is blowing my mind. You've got four instructors who really know their stuff and have knowledge in their brains that they need to get across to each one of the thousands of people who are already signed up to attend MEGA.dev.
Each one of those people has a different context, different things that matter to them, and different levels of experience. This has always been a problem with instruction: finding a way for the material to be equally applicable regardless of people's level of expertise, and that is extremely difficult 💀. I used to do that with extra credit so that people who get through things faster than others will have something to do rather than twiddle their thumbs 😬
Now we have agents, and your agents have a deep understanding of you, your preferences, your projects, and the way that you have used agents in the past. When we're teaching you about how to improve your efficiency at using agents, we're going to use your agent to help us teach you how you can improve specifically.
Yes, there will be videos from your instructors and written material, but there will also be material for your agent to take you through the story that the MEGA.dev team has created for you. It will give you challenges that are specific to the way that you work with agents today to get you leveled up.
Everyone's experience going through MEGA.dev will be perfectly catered to them, and that's how MEGA.dev is different.
If you're still not convinced, you should at least come to our kickoff on Monday to see what we have to show you. I've got something I'm excited to share, for sure. The doors close for this cohort that evening, so make sure to have your boss on speed dial.

Our work is changing.
As a designer, I've noticed that lately I watch more @theo and @kentcdodds on yt than design tutorials.
It's hard to keep up with everything AI companies ship, but these guys made me realize one thing.
It's about changing how you think, and thinking dn't understand what "think bigger" means.
I was focused on my Figma kit and happy with AI editing variables or building simple components. All the AI slop apps made me think that was the limit.
Then one day, working in Figma, I realized how much time I was wasting. Waiting for components to update after I changed one variable or deleted a mode.
I was tired of waiting for new features/fixes. I wanted a tool that works the way I think about design systems instead of waiting for Figma to catch up.
But I was sceptical. I'm a designer with zero backend knowledge. I thought I won't be able to do it.
I built it anyway, following the tips I learned from these videos. Burning through a couple of Claude Max plans.
That app became DS Manager. Two weeks after launch, it landed me a $12k client project and hundreds of users onboard.
All of this came from changing my thinking watching Theo's or Kent's videos.
By the way, these guys are launching the largest AI cohort course @megadevhq next week with @techgirl1908 @johnlindquist @_overment @greg_rog @joelhooks It will be huge.
I already learned a lot from their yt videos and I'm excited to see what the course will bring.
To celebrate the launch of the MEGA, I cooked a free MEGA-styled shadcn/ui design system.
You can fork it, tweak it and install with the cli. Link below.

Somebody should say a few words.
This profession has been lamenting in fragments for two years with a headstone that turns out to have the wrong name on it.
@davekiss delivered a masterclass at Resend Forward. Listen, grieve, and leave renewed with hope.

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

You can now expose long running agents via MCP and use it in Claude. You want to run a research agent or kick off a CI job and listen to the result. You also can now ensure with elicitations that a human is accepting an action or filling in data, or delegate to a URL for payments

When anyone can build anything, how do you make something people actually choose?
At AGNTCon I talked about why building something great is only half the job.
My favorite part is always the conversations afterward. Grateful I got to share the stage with @techgirl1908 and things I talked about is public signal. What people actually understand and remember about your product.
We have so much content now, but how much of it actually helps people understand what we’re building?
AI summarizes and remixes your content, leaves out important details, or exaggerates small things until customers start hearing promises you never made.
And somehow, genuinely different products end up sounding exactly the same.
So if your product isn’t converting, maybe you don’t need more content or better distribution. Maybe you need to understand what people are actually hearing about your product, and whether that’s what you intended.
This is one of my favorite problems to help teams solve, so let’s chat!
