Just sat down with @SilverJaw82, CEO & Founder of @Sannrhq at AGNTCon + MCPCon to talk about building with AI, keeping up with the pace of change, and what he's learning on his founding journey.
Thanks to the @AgenticAIFdn + @linuxfoundation for having us!
Episode coming soon on @//t.co/flhbd1RZNU

Listening to @temporalio Browsers for Agents.
But the best thing is that they are the kit sponsors of @CPFC.

I had a blast speaking at APISec | Con hosted by @apisecu today.
The talk consisted of the results of months of experiments testing different forms of API context so that coding agents can do their job confidently. I shared my failures along with my wins.
All of these learnings have become what @Sannrhq is today, an API client, built for coding agents, that remembers.
With @Sannrhq, you now have deterministic context that can be tested and diffed, right in the code. Not on someone else's cloud.
If you wanna give it a try, the install prompt is at sannr.dev

1229 downloads form npmjs in the last 2 weeks!
Granted, about 25 of them are mine as I test each release, but still!
Are you using @Sannrhq?! I wanna hear from you please! Because I don't add telemetry to the client, I'm kind of flying blind (on purpose).
I am going to add a r reporting bugs and providing feedback, but it's an optional phone home only, and only offered when users catch a problem.
Like the gap in Sannr's API client ability to read and capture ASGI servers in a python repo! Thank you to Mohit for reporting it in the Sannr discord server, a new feature is coming soon, although, admittedly, I didn't know anything about ASGI until this was reported.
But seriously, if you're using Sannr, I'd love to hear from you! sterling@sannr.dev or DM me here!

Every team has two dusty books on a shelf: its request collection and its API spec. Good books. The agent writing your code never pulls them down, because agents don't go looking.
Put them in front of it, in the repo, and it reads them. That's the idea behind Sannr.

Have you tried turning the warp core off and back on again?
What would customer service look like in Starfleet and in the United Federation of Planets?!
My friend Michael Watson and I are going to be on @codetv_dev next week as we take on the the daunting task of making the citizens more comfortable. When there is a problem with their replicator, who do they call? Not Capt. Picard. They get ahold of SFCS.
I can't wait for the fun and mayhem that is about to happen!

Five bugs on the list for the next Sannr alpha, and every one of them came from a feedback report. So far every report is mine. Sure, the feedback is from me, but it's still dogfooding.
The list: no Basic auth. A loader that threw a whole contract away over one path key. A mount prefix ignored on the main environment. A dependencies count that counted hosts. UTC dates that read a day stale.
Install it and send me a report that isn't mine.

I just gave Claude the ability to use Codex via computer use.
What dangers am I in for?! Lol

We shipped an alpha API client without HTTP Basic auth.
One of the most common auth schemes there is, and it wasn't in there. I found out last night by pointing Sannr at a large public API and running its own feedback report. The report said it in one line.
The fix is in review and goes out in the next alpha. This is what alphas are for.

I really hope open-source AI wins the day.
My vision is that I have an open source harness on my mac mini at home that connects everything together, my family finances, medical records, schedules, meal prep, etc. All the things that I spend so much time managing.
I imagine a own personal agents that handle the mundane so we can do what we do best.
I imagine a world where I go to the doctor and authorize the doctor's agent to communicate with mine, and all my medical history is shared with the doctor.
I imagine a world where my agent helps me juggle running a family, a start up, and frees up my time to focus on myself and my hobbies.
I imagine a world where I have complete data sovereignty.
Yes, I'm old enough to remember when hotmail was $5 a month, and as a society, we made the decision to give away our data for free email.
Open source AI is our opportunity to reset after this 25+ year experiment.
If you read to the end, tell me what you imagine would be possible if you owned all your data again. Or just say hi.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
