A Koch funded think tank founded on “The Death of Environmentalism” has once again discovered that.the era of the climate hawk is over. (lol)
The era of the climate hawk is over.

That doesn’t mean that climate progress is impossible.

It does mean that the “whole green NGO community” (lol) doesn’t have the sway it once did.

Vickers would be a legitimately decent choice and that's why I expect he'll lose.
NEW: The high-stakes @UtahSenateGOP and lesser-anticipated @utahhousereps leadership elections will be held Nov. 6 at 5:30. Included in this article are the members running for leadership, according to two insiders and the Senate’s chief of staff. abc4.com/news/politics/…

Honesty is important. Tucker Carlson just said he thinks your guy sucks.
They’re now accusing Haley Stevens of being racist for calling on Abdul to condemn two ads. One that’s vehemently antisemitic and the other where Abdul includes all the racists that have endorsed him like Tucker Carlson.

Give us a break, Nate. Nobody is buying your BS.

it's fun imagining the yglz & jenty posts talking about the amazing NRDC if NRDC were supporting their AI-billionaire bill

If Haley Stevens was the nominee, and Abdul’s wife was voting for Mike Rogers and had donated tens of thousands of dollars to Susan Collins, I have a sneaking suspicion your response would not have been “Big Tent!”

If he's gone 'scorched earth' what is $30 million in negative advertising ahead of the primary?
Sarah Longwell yesterday:

"[El-Sayed] went so SCORCHED EARTH on Haley Stevens that he's having a lot of trouble putting that coalition back together again."

Tim Miller: I would just add on top of that that Rogers is also worse... a D-tier campaign

i'm seeing a pattern here
I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.

But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.

This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

1. That's false. Carlson doesn't "praise" AES in the ad, he says: "I wouldn’t vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint."
2. It's an ad AES is running on Fox so, yes, it contains quotes from right-wingers who the viewers trust and respect.
3. You were a fan of this strategy when it was Harris campaigning with Liz Cheney.

This is reductive and comes as Big Tech races to power AI data centers with fossil fuels.

Billionaire-funded groups like @SearchlightInst are exploiting the affordability crisis to urge Democrats to drill more, with no mention of breaking monopolies or confronting corporate power.

CO-1 resident, Andrew Thompson, went to the West Bank to stand with Palestinian farmers, and the Israeli forces held them for hours at the border and denied the entire delegation entry.

Shame on Israel. Showing up for people whose land and lives are under attack is not a crime.
Yesterday, Israeli authorities barred 7 organizers from DSA from entering the occupied West Bank via Jordan. We remain committed to anti-Zionism while fighting for Palestinian liberation and an end to Israeli apartheid, occupation, and genocide.

I'm just gonna say it again: Haley Stevens went on CNN tonight, in primetime, for several minutes, and said not a word about the vicious and dangerous bigotry that he - and the Muslims of Michigan - have been targeted with by the party that her fiancee is voting for.

Haley Stevens is on CNN demanding Abdul El-Sayed denounce ‘hateful rhetoric’ - meanwhile her fiancée says he is voting for a hateful bigot who called El-Sayed a terrorist.

Maybe she should get her future life partner to denounce and disavow bigotry before she lectures others on bigotry.

(And she keeps saying the ad blamed ‘Jews’ for higher grocery prices when it blamed Israel and didn’t mention Jews. You don’t have to like the ad, but you don’t have to lie about it either.)

imagine being a "Democrat" and not being able to wholeheartedly denounce this POS.
WOW: Mike Rogers says he wants to impose literacy tests as a condition for receiving SNAP and Medicaid.

His proposal would add layers of bureacracy, prevent eligible recipients from getting the assistance they need, and lead to significant racial disparities. #MISen

The racism is flowing in one direction in this campaign and it's entirely directed at Abdul. Delusional to say otherwise. Just stay off TV for a couple days.

Weird how progressives who lose their primaries don’t get to go on TV to shit on the Democratic nominee but for some reason we need to hear from centrists who clearly want Republicans to win

So the opposition to Netanyahu could right this minute have a governing majority if they join with the Arab parties? But they might not do that, because treating Arab-Israeli citizens as legitimate partners is maybe worse to them then letting Bibi remain in power? Yikes!

@joshforprogress @JimmyGomezCA @Angela4CA @TeamAOC please look into this and tell Jimmy Gomez to remove her endorsement from the campaign website and if you can, please support Angela Gonzalez torres and now she has a reason to move away from her position of not supporting incumbent challengers.
