Temple Israel Survivor: “Michigan is faced with a choice: a terrorist sympathizer like Abdul El-Sayed or someone who will protect us like Mike Rogers”

Listen to Claudia, a survivor of the terrorist attack that El-Sayed excused. The choice is clear. She’s voting for Mike Rogers.

this desperate pysop is unbearable to watch in Michigan. so tired of listening to it. 1 in 4 black people in Michigan are below the poverty line and the message is Muslim/jewish duo is what we’re talking about. Last thing that Michiganders care about is a religious identity pitch. And on top of that Michigan is a state where the population of Muslims and Jews are both 1 percent. What are we talking about
Obama: "Imagine the power duo of Abdul and Elissa. You got a Muslim man, a Jewish woman, fighting for you in the US senate. That's something, Michigan, you can be proud of!"

Patriotic Democrats can support Mary Peltola in Alaska, Jon Ossoff in Georgia, Josh Turek in Iowa, Adam Hamilton in Kansas, Dan Osborn in Nebraska, Chris Pappas in New Hampshire, Roy Cooper in North Carolina, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Annie Andrews in South Carolina, and James Talarico in Texas—and oppose Abdul El-Sayed for Senate in Michigan.

We should do everything we can to elect principled candidates while opposing anti-American bigotry, extremism, and intolerance, including within our own party.

Democrats can win control of one or both houses of Congress by standing for a positive vision of America that brings people together, protects our democracy, and delivers a better future. Putting country over party by opposing anti-American bigots in our ranks makes us stronger.

You should listen to lifelong Democrats ⬇️
Patriotic Michigan voters can support Republican Mike Rogers for US Senate while contributing to patriotic Democratic candidates in swing states like Kansas, Texas, and Alaska.

Our party must stand up to the Trump administration’s abuses and excesses, but using that imperative to excuse anti-American bigotry from candidates like Abdul El-Sayed will destroy our credibility with the broader US electorate.

El-Sayed’s connection to terrorists and extremists?? Read below ⬇️⬇️
@arash_tehran His mother, half sister, father in law, the open letter he signed. Campaign contributors, the brazen fib he told when first asked about whether anyone in his family was connected to the MB.

Abdul being smug & dismissive about a dude trying to blow up a bunch of Jewish kids because his Hezbollah brother got killed in action on the other side of the planet is fair grounds to dislike him

And it’s beyond obnoxious to paint being bothered by that as “[a]ll for Israel”
All for Israel.

This is some N*zi level propaganda, paid for by people who hate America and everything we stand for. Michigan should reject Abdul. Great thread by Adam and another reason why Jewish and Black Michiganders are rejecting Abdul.
According to the PAC supporting Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate, the reason Americans can’t afford groceries is because the U.S. is paying for “Israel to kill Palestinians.”

Blaming America’s problems on Israel isn’t simply criticism of foreign aid.

That’s why they don’t care about the billions of aid going to Egypt, Jordan and Ukraine. Or about US military forces defending Europe, South Korea and Japan.

Israel is central to the identity of most American Jews.

Singling out Israel as the cause of American suffering is a thinly veiled attempt to turn Americans against their Jewish compatriots, portraying their support for Israel as evidence of divided loyalties and their political influence as a threat to the interests of their fellow Americans.

It is an old antisemitic tool dressed up as a foreign-policy argument.

Nobody has attacked Abdul for his name or his faith. These bad-faith attempts to conflate his support and defense of terrorism with his religion are disgusting.

Nobody has an issue with his name or his faith. We have an issue with his extremism and associations.

They’re just as obnoxious as Abdul!
Yesterday evening at around 7:15, I got a knock at my door. Two canvassers introduced themselves and asked me what I found important. I told them I want a candidate who will support our allies. These men were from the AFL/CIO. They asked who I was supporting in the Michigan Senate race. I looked at them, pointed to my Mike Rogers lawn sign and asked why they are on my porch. They then asked for my wife and said they needed to record who she was supporting. I told them, it's none of their business. To which they replied, yes it is.

I ended the conversation and told them to leave my porch.

The Abdul crew are out in full force. Michiganders, please make sure to vote. It will be a very close election.

Does the left understand how ridiculous it looks to claim anti-Sayed Democrats are more loyal to Israel than America, while simultaneously claiming that any inquiry into El-Sayed’s very real links to the Muslim Brotherhood is an unwarranted attack on his patriotism?

I worked for Obama twice. I ran for Congress as a Democrat.

Now I’m called a traitor for refusing to give every Democrat my vote.

I’m raising a Jewish daughter. Her safety matters more to me than party loyalty.

If that bothers you, ask yourself why.

“Rogers has been out in the neighborhoods, and that’s smart,” said Adrian Hemond, a Democrat of mixed race who runs a bipartisan consulting firm in Michigan. “He’s not going to win them, but if he can get in the high teens, low 20s, percentage-wise, with Black men, that’ll go a long way.”
