think about how absolutely insane and world stopping a two-week American runoff election period would be (complimentary)
Brazilâs results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second âare you you sure about thatâ election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Republican candidate makes an ad so disgusting that even other Republicans say to take it downâŠbut Joe Manchin somehow finds a way to âboth sidesâ it.
Incredible work.
Incredible work.
The disgusting attack ad in the Ohio governorâs race points to a much bigger problem in politics. The political parties don't care about the character or integrity of their candidates anymore. They only care about power â no matter what it takes. We need common sense leadership, ties are failing to meet the moment.

I miss Pennsylvania having a senior senator who cared about electing Democrats.
Bucks County Dems are fired up and showing up to flip the PA state senate and expand the PA House Demsâ majority so @JoshShapiroPA can get more shit done to make lives better, lower costs, and have Harrisburg work for people, not billionaires and corporate lobbyists.

I really do find the whole âletâs have a sit down intra-factional debateâ thing sorta unproductive usually because it pits figures who really have no interest in learning from a respective faction against each other.
Itâs particularly frustrating amongst the Democratic coalition because no faction is remotely big enough to win an election.
There is no âwinningâ in this debate. There is only coexistence.

The point of these debates, I guess, is to take online beefs and make them thoughtful long-form conversations. But then the primary way theyâre consumed and distributed is through short form clips that are intentionally cut to stir up more factional online beefs.
I donât really see the point tbh.

Channeling my inner low information voter by not remotely trying to understand dcâs foie gras ballot initiative and voting specifically based on the vibes of proponents and opponents.

Having a former mayor of Atlanta as governor could be huge for MARTA. No reason why MARTA couldnât become a world class transit system in the not so distant future.
I want everyone to know that if I ever decide to leave ATL/GA you can blame GDOT and MARTA đ useless mfs are determined to make transportation in this state an ever-lasting hell

âsurrender monkeysâ is a new one for Elmo.
But while I have you, the people who build clean energyâyou know, the stuff that actually leads to decarbonization and fewer emissionsâare backing this bill bigly.
Donât surrender to inaction. Pass BAJAA!

Right now, these surrender monkeys are pushing to gut our foundational environmental laws in a deal w/ Trump. This dirty dealâs strongest supporters are oil & gas companies + data centers/ai. Itâs part of a âbi-partisanâ proposal called BAAJA. Corporate money rules them. Say NO!

The sense of precarity is real and voters are looking to Democrats for solutions. Itâs a chance for the party to get back to first principles, and they should take it!
