The general dismissal of fantasy art by art collectors at large is, to me, something that absolutely draws me to it as a subject matter. The more I dig into the genre the more I am floored by the qualities of work that has been created in that field that seem to go unloved by the highbrow world
Marrying collage with it feels like a doubling-down on the simple expression that I am simply creating what I want and what interests me. And that allows me to challenge myself in a way that pandering to a trend or 'hot' style-of-the-week does not.
Not everything i make will be fantasy art, but I dont see myself not returning to it regularly because of the simple fact I enjoy it

thereโs a wave of artists that have no idea that this existed with AGAH. It was a short few years but damn i wish it couldโve lived long enough to keep impacting artistsโ lives.
As an artist, I want to see a space where art matters more than connections, where talented artists arenโt overlooked just because theyโre not part of the right circles.
Iโve seen incredible artists leave this space simply because they werenโt getting seen. And Iโm genuinely sad for every single one of them. They had to leave because they needed to pay their rent and bills.
I love what I do. Iโve dedicated years of my life to art, and I want to make a living from it and build a future for my children.
Iโm not asking for special treatment. I just want a fair chance, and I believe every artist deserves one.
