I’’ 59. 35 years as a cop, detective, and private investigator.
At 57 I was 50 lbs heavier, tired, and coasting. Here's what I changed, and what I teach men who refuse to fade.
Protein first. Every meal starts there. Muscle is the currency of aging well.
Lift heavy, three to to look good. To stay hard to kill.
Own the morning. I'm up before 5. The day doesn't happen to me; I happen to it.
35 years of investigations taught me this: discipline beats motivation. Motivation shows up when it feels like it.
If you're over 45 and feel yourself fading, you're not done. You're out of practice.
I built Forge 12 for men ready to rebuild. Link in the first reply.

Alex says TRT ages your face.
I'm 59. I don't care about my face. I care that I can deadlift, carry my groceries, and keep up with my sons.
Strong and weathered beats soft and smooth.

Strong and weathered beats soft and smooth.
Yet another issue with TRT (with a lot of men) is that it tends to age their faces a lot.
To avoid this?
-Live the naturally high T lifestyle
-Tretinoin + Moisturizer
-REM sleep Maxxing
-Daily SPF

Saturday morning at 59.
Two years ago this was a goal. Now it's just Saturday. Now the goals look different.
What's one thing you're doing today for future you?

Muscle is your longevity insurance.
At 57 I was 50 lbs heavier and losing strength every year.
At 59 I lift heavy five times a week. Eat clean and walk. It’s not complicated.
I do it for my future. For my sons.
Don’t wait any longer. Start today.
Become the 2.0 version of you.

This is my story. I’ve had to rebuild and struggle. I never quit. If you’re there now. Keep moving.

Friday night. Almost 7. Worked late, now winding down.
At 57 I trained hard and never recovered. Wondered why I stalled.
Rest is part of the work. Muscle gets built when you shut it down.
How are you decompressing this weekend?

Six months ago today, I stepped back into a gym after a 15-year hiatus. Coincidentally, the next day I started TRT. Arguably, those two decisions, combined with the use of a GLP-1 that began six months earlier, have completely changed my life for the better. I’m still in the phase where almost every week I can move more tonnage during my workouts. With the guidance of my coaches at @IronEthosX, the goal is to see how far we can extend and maximize that “newbie” muscle growth period. Still, I’ll be perfectly happy to work hard for as long as I’m physically able, no matter whether the gains are fast or slow.

My take on this: I have watched people focus on their weight while their arteries quietly aged in the background. After 50 your blood vessels lose flexibility, your heart works harder, and you feel nothing until the damage is deep. Daily movement, real sleep and steady blood e vessels young. At Zyndio a physician reads your labs, your scan and your wearable data together, then builds the plan. Gabriel Iglesias quit Ozempic after 5 months. Lost muscle. 20 lbs came right back.
The drug isn't the plan. It's a tool.
If you're on a GLP-1 and not lifting and eating protein, you're losing muscle.
It’s not a free ride. You need to put in the work and learn new habits.
Protein and exercise.

Gabriel Iglesias was on Ozempic for about five months. His description is the most honest one I’ve heard.
It worked almost too well. He’d look at food and feel nothing, not disgust, just “I’m good.”
The weight came off. But he watched his shoulders disappear with it. A strong h he was proud of. Add the constant nausea, and he quit.
The moment he stopped, 20 pounds came back almost immediately.
And here’s the twist: years earlier, he says Ozempic offered him a million-dollar deal to be the face of the brand. He turned it down.
That’s the part nobody puts in the commercial. The drug turns off your hunger. It doesn’t protect your muscle, and it doesn’t fix whatever was driving the eating in the first place.

Unable to locate a Prime chest supported row
But in the meantime this T-Bar chest supported row kicks. Much better than the machine depicted blow on my previous back day.
Highly recommend this one.
Happy Friday! What are you hitting today?

I could not find this machine.
I did find this chest-supported row machine that worked pretty well. I was able to adjust the seat up and down for high and low supported rows. (Low shown)
