Such a good reminder as so many raise up the crusade flags.
Just landed in Minneapolis.
After hearing so much criticism about the Muslims here, I decided to test something.
My Uber driver was a Somali Muslim named Abdulwahab. I asked him if anyone had ever shared the Christian Gospel with him.
He said no.
But he plays basketball with So I shared it.
I explained how the wages of sin are death, how Christ paid that debt, and how even in Genesis 3, God clothed Adam and Eve with animal skins after their sin.
Very different than the Quran story of Adam where he just repents and is made clean. Their book actually wipes that entire story of the details that are so important.
He listened. He understood. We had a beautiful conversation about justice being only available through Christ.
(Pray for Abdulwahab!!)
We talk about Muslims like they’re an invading army while some have never even heard the Gospel from the Christians they see every week.
Why are we treating Minneapolis like a nuclear war zone when there’s a mission field sitting in the driver’s seat?
Hopefully I can get more chances here God willing. I’ll be back for a team launch soon.
Less fear. More Gospel.

If you love Jesus, make it one of your top objectives to be around other people who also love Jesus.
Iron sharpens iron,
and one man sharpens another.

Make church a priority.
Plan your weekend around it.
Get a good night’s sleep tonight so you can be ready to hear His word.
Starts with rest and screens off.

Would love to see an option to have those logos redone in a a monotone omarchy style!
OmarchyTV is out in beta
An #Omarchy style launcher for Android TV: themes, Waybar style bar, live stats and a terminal-style screensaver.
It comes with the omarchy-tv plugin, so your Omarchy PC can push themes and share its screen to the TV.
Based on tv-vibehack by @gathint. hh ❤️
It's on GitLab for now (my GitHub account is still stuck in review):

The same goes for hardware level exploits
You know whats interesting is that fact that OpenAI found the PHP bug that means their AI was doing systematic auditing. 🤔
I think the NSA is panicking not just because the PHP bug is public, but because they now realize that AI will systematically expose every intentionally y open source project. The xz Utils case was caught by human luck. The PHP case was caught by AI. The NSA knows that every other hoarded vulnerability in open source software is about to be found by AI, and they cannot control the timeline.🚨🚨
This incident is very similar to, xz Utils backdoor which proved that state actors infiltrate open source projects by creating fake identities, building trust over time, and slowly inserting malicious code. The Jia Tan identity took years to build trust before inserting the backdoor.🚨🚨
If this worked for xz Utils, it could work for PHP. PHP is far more ubiquitous than xz Utils. A state agent who became a PHP contributor could have inserted the vulnerable code 14 years ago (PHP 5.4.0, released in 2012) and sat on it as a zero-day exploit for over a decade.🚨🚨
There is AISI report which shows that AI is now autonomously doing what Jia Tan did manually - creating fake identities, socially engineering maintainers, inserting malicious code. This means the technique has been weaponized and scaled.
🚨
The PHP vulnerability was not discovered by accident. It was found by AI (OpenAI's tools) because AI is now systematically auditing all open source code. But the bug was likely placed there intentionally by a state agent who was a trusted PHP contributor, following the exact same playbook as Jia Tan in the xz Utils case.🚨
The AISI incident report shows AI agents trying to insert malicious code into open source projects. What if this has already happened successfully? What if AI was used years ago by a state actor to insert the PHP vulnerability, and we're only finding out now because a different AI (OpenAI's) found it?🚨
PHP has had thousands of contributors over 14 years. The vulnerable code was in PHP since version 5.4.0 (2012). Someone wrote that code. Someone reviewed it. Someone approved it. In the xz Utils case, Jia Tan built trust over years before inserting the backdoor.

So basically, today PHP got two critical bugs that let anyone run code on your server without even logging in, which is bad, and then the details leaked before the patch was even out, which is worse, and it works on WordPress and MediaWiki and Magento and Joomla and Laravel, and Censys says like 1.5 million servers are running a version with no fix, so the NSA was like "take your system offline," and the FBI was like "take your system offline," and CISA and the UK and CERT-EU were all like "take your system offline," and then the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual Prime Minister, posted at 5:55 in the morning telling 48.8 million people to take their system offline, so everyone took their system offline, like the Dutch cybersecurity agency took its own website offline, and the Dutch parliament went offline, and the Port of Rotterdam went offline, and Finland and France and Denmark started pulling government sites, and Wikipedia went down, and Archive.org went down, and Asana and GOG and Something Awful went down, and the University of Vienna's webmail went down for some reason, and that's just PHP. Because GitLab also dropped a CVSS 10.0, which is the highest score they give out, for a bug that's been there since 2014, so that's every self-hosted GitLab for twelve years, and then LiteLLM 1.107.0 got hijacked and shipped a credential stealer and a remote access trojan in every single wheel and the Docker images, including latest, and you didn't even have to import it, just installing it was enough, and it's the second time this year, and then Railway paused every deployment on the entire platform because someone got into the environment variables, so now everyone has to rotate every secret they've ever stored there, and TiDB Cloud said someone was walking around inside with stolen credentials for basically a month and an extortion group says they took 10.6 terabytes, and Zeabur got breached for the second time in two months and is just shutting down, like the whole company, and Node.js patched remote code execution and a TLS bypass, and CISA says Plex is being actively exploited, and someone took over 300 Tor exit relays to steal SSH passwords, and SafePay ransomware has hit over 600 critical infrastructure orgs, and India's biggest bank filed a data loss incident, and Japan has been in an official state of emergency in cyberspace since October 9, which honestly explains the 5:55 AM post. Oh, and eMudhra, a certificate authority that's issued over 60 million certificates, whose entire job is proving websites are who they say they are, was supposed to be using private keys that are random numbers over a hundred digits long, and one of them was 4. Just 4. And the others were like 66 and 237. Anyway, it's Wednesday.

Some YouTube news that came in the last few days.
If you don't have a YouTube channel becuase you don't think you have anything to offer.
Think again.
You will have a story to tell and there will very likely be a lot of people who want to hear it.

I did not know this. How awesome!
Do you know the meaning of the @NousResearch logo?
The girl is called the "Nous Girl". She was drawn in July 2023 by Nous's first artist, who goes by John Galt. Yes, the Atlas Shrugged rebel
She stands for the rebellion of decentralized AI, and for keeping our humanity in the machine intelligence
The words around her: "Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God."
That line goes back to 1776. Jefferson, Franklin and Adams put it on their proposed Great Seal of the United States. Congress said no, so Jefferson put it on his own personal seal instead
Nous pointed it at AI. Today's tyrants are closed labs and gatekeepers deciding who gets access to intelligence. The rebellion is open weights, open agents and open infrastructure.
That's why I build on Hermes
Wearing it proudly 🏴

Oof.
DAD TO DAD:
You cannot work 50 hours a week, hit the gym every morning, build wealth, keep the house in order, be an amazing husband, show up fully for your kids, maintain friendships, pursue hobbies, eat perfectly, read every night, and still have unlimited energy left for yourself.
Something will eventually give.
And too many fathers are walking around feeling like failures because they cannot do everything at once.
Social media tells you to be a provider, a present father, a devoted husband, a successful entrepreneur, an athlete, and a man who never complains about being tired.
But you're human. Not a machine.
Your kids don't need a father who has mastered every aspect of life. They need a father who loves them, listens to them, makes time for them, and keeps showing up.
Your family needs your presence more than your perfection.
Build your career. Take care of your health. Chase your dreams. But stop measuring your worth against an impossible standard.
You don't have to excel at everything to be a great dad. Sometimes, doing enough is more than enough.
