In just the last 10 days, some of the world's biggest companies have announced thousands of job cuts.
Barclays: 5,000
American Express: 3,500
Volvo: 2,500
eBay: 1,000
Netflix: 1,000 (reported)
That's roughly 13,000 jobs affected ies.
Meanwhile, U.S. tech layoffs have surged 54% in 2026, with AI cited in over 120,000 job cuts across industries.
Companies are spending billions on AI while thousands of workers are losing their jobs.

In 2024 it opened the largest office it has ever built from the ground up. Gurugram, India. Nearly one million square feet. 18,000+ Between November and June it also got 554 H-1B positions certified. 189 of those filings sat at the top wage level. 187 for NEW hires.
Today it books a $336 million restructuring charge and cuts about 5% of its workforce. At an estimated $96,000 a head in restructuring costs the points to American layoffs.
Watching closely.

Roof Ops LLC in Kalispell, MT is gaming the H-1B system to skip over American workers.
They're importing "Senior Accountants" (Case I-200-26127-881086 & I-200-26139-926204) at $83,200/year. There is no "talent shortage" for accountants in the US. None.
Roof Ops bypassed local MontKonuri and Konuri Law in Texas. Konuri is originally from Andhra Pradesh, India, and specializes in building these exact pipelines.
Look at the pattern: A Montana employer → a Texas lawyer from Andhra Pradesh → foreign labor.
You don't need a map to see the pipeline. It's a system that shuts out American citizens.
Jeremiah Foote and Roof Ops LLC: Why aren't American professionals your priority?
Stop the H-1B abuse. Hire American. And most importantly, if a company uses foreign workers over Americans, then boycott their business. That's how you send a clear message.

I'm tired of every single recruiter reaching out to me being from India and barely speaking English. It's impossible to have a conversation. I know there are thousands of US citizens who would kill for these roles. Why is the sourcing for jobs within the United States happening through foreign nationals from India? They literally control the U.S. job market across all sectors. @USDOL do you care to answer?
