🚨 YOUNG CATHOLICS VIOLENTLY ATTACKED IN ROUEN, FRANCE

Approximately 15 young Catholics were reportedly assaulted by several dozen attackers near the Saint-Romain fair in Rouen, northern France.

During the attack, assailants allegedly shouted “Dirty gwërs,” a derogatory term ascists.”

One attacker reportedly declared: “I’m Muslim, I’m 16 years old, and I’ll f*ck your mother.”

Several victims required hospital treatment.

The reported religiously charged assault raises serious concerns about anti-Christian violence in France.

The more I think about this tweet, the more incredible it seems.

JD Vance is really trying to save his political career by writing a little essay critiquing his own administration’s war strategy like he’s the public editor. Just terminally poster-brained.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.

So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."

Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.

There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.

But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.

Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:

1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel

Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)

In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.

The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.

If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.

But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.

I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

Sometimes, letting Muslim Brotherhood Islamists win elections in the West may be the harshest lesson democracy can teach its own voters. Let people discover the true face of the ideology they voted for: the intolerance disguised as tolerance, the extremism dressed up as progress, and the backwardness sold as a brighter future.

Look at the turmoil in France. Look at the political battles unfolding in Britain, or “Britainstan,” as some now call it. One day, those who voted for extremism may discover that the ballot they cast in the name of progress became a vote against their own freedoms.

The tragedy of democracy is that people sometimes have to experience the consequences of their choices before they understand the value of what they had.

Civilization is easy to take for granted until you realize what it takes to defend it.

Israel’s Arab-led parties won 19 Knesset seats.

Today all of them backed Gadi Eisenkot to form the next government, giving him 67 endorsements to Netanyahu’s 46.

Arab voters and lawmakers are playing a big role in shaping Israeli society.

Remember these facts the next time u with the apartheid libel. It’s simply not true.

This grotesque failure to speak honestly about the nature of the problem is why it cannot be solved and must inevitably worsen. Subordinate truth long enough and your entire society will become a shithole.

Adam Hamilton is a centrist pastor running in Kansas and only underperformed El-Sayed (running in the most blue-leaning swing state) by 1.5 points. Given the environment and the political tilt of their respective states, the two worst performing Democratic Senate winners were El-Sayed and Troy Jackson

I don't point shit like this out just to make it clear that the left is delusional (although I do enjoy that) but it's just absurd that this Democratic Senate class is actually *more conservative* than the Democratic Senate class it is replacing because of Democratic victories in Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, and possibly Alaska and Mississippi and yet the left thinks we should defer to them because they gave us our two biggest underperformers in races anyone would have won in this environment

In terms of margin of victory, El-Sayed underperformed every other statewide Democrat who was up for election in Michigan

Mehdi Hasan claimed to be an expert on antisemitism because he was once an extremist.

Can we finally say that the mask is finally off?

He is the king of gaslighting.

What genius thought it would be a good idea to grant him citizenship in the United States?
Usually, the election night message is "He'll be a leader for all Americans, regardless of how they voted"

Mehdi Hasan has a slightly different message for people who didn't support Abdul El-Sayed...

I was usually the ONLY WOMAN in my convoy in Afghanistan. Not only was I a military police team leader, I was the one who searched the Afghan women.

Those women told me things their husbands never would. They also told me things they wouldn't tell their husbands. They let me alk to their kids. These women had NO voice in that country. No rights. They were men's property.

40 months in a Muslim country taught me this: Sharia doesn't "coexist." It TAKES. And here in the USA, it will take from women FIRST.

Ladies, it starts with your voice. DO NOT hand it over. It wasn't very long ago at all that we fought for and WON our freedom here in America. We owe it to our daughters not to go backwards. 🇺🇸🪖

Listening to @AbdulElSayed on @Morning_Joe, two statements stood out as serious warnings for the Jewish community and the U.S.-Israel relationship. I’m not even sure how he can clarify these remarks, because he stated his positions so clearly.

First, he has moved from opposing U.S. military aid to @Israel to calling for an end to all arms sales to Israel.

What would that mean in practice? Israel continues to face existential threats from Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and other armed groups. Ending arms sales raises serious questions not only about Israel’s ability to defend itself, but also about its access to the weapons and technologies that support its defensive systems and have helped protect at minimum tens of thousands of Israelis from being killed over the past three years.

So now it’s his official policy: This has never been just about foreign aid. It is also about Israel’s ability to defend itself. And such a policy could have two devastating consequences for America: 1. Leave our most important ally in the the Middle East, the Jewish state increasingly vulnerable to those seeking its destruction. 2. Force Israel to turn to countries that are not aligned with the United States for the weapons it needs to survive. Both would be terrible outcomes and disastrous American foreign policy.

Second, El-Sayed spoke of separating “Judaism and the Jewish people and Israel.” I have heard him speak about growing up surrounded by a Jewish community, attending bar and bat mitzvahs and Passover Seders, and having many Jewish friends. Yet he also makes clear his opposition to Zionism.

His remarks reminded me of a conversation I had a few months after the war began. I was part of a group of Jews and Muslims who came together to see how we could rise above the divisions and find common ground. One member of the group expressed a sentiment strikingly similar to El-Sayed’s: “I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood. I went to a hundred bar and bat mitzvahs. All my friends were Jewish. I’m not antisemitic. I’m just against Zionism.”

That conversation has stayed with me because it raises a fundamental question: What does it mean to embrace Jewish people and Jewish traditions while rejecting the Jewish people's 4,000 year connection to the land of Israel and Zionism? It is a narrative that must change.

For decades, elements of the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel, BDS, and delegitimization movements have worked to drive a wedge between American Jews and Israel, while seeking to marginalize those who publicly support the Jewish state. The statements above are used to make Jews feel uncomfortable in settings.

One can disagree with Israel's government, oppose its policies, and criticize its leader s without denying the Jewish people's history, identity, or connection to their ancestral homeland of Israel. x.com/atrupar/status…
