Designed by Bettinghofer & Hermann in 1891.
Same firm that designed the Martin Schnitzius Cottage at 1925 N. Fremont Street, a Chicago Landmark completed the same year, the Aldine Building at 9now the Old Town School of Folk Music, and workers cottages throughout Chicago’s German immigrant communities.
Preservation Chicago is advocating for the protection of this building with community members.

Hey Cook County.
Not one GOP leader or Republican candidate in Cook County was told the date that these extra high school early voting locations would be open.
No notice given. And no response from the county clerk when people called to ask. It was by luck that one election king to another election judge YESTERDAY and it was discovered these extra early voting locations are open TOMORROW, Thursday Oct 15. Why these schools? Why only these congressional districts? Why so secretive? A secret voting spot just for schools where no poll watchers know to show up…

🚨 I’ve been warning about this “professor” for years.
In two days, on October 14... University of Chicago professor Eman Abdelhadi, sister of Abdul El-Sayed, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court on two felony counts of aggravated battery and two misdemeanor counts of ctober of 2025, she attended an anti-ICE protest at the Broadview ICE Detention Center outside of Chicago.
After screaming her brains out and accusing the police of being Nazis, she grew violent and repeatedly spit on police officers and federal agents.
She also sought to have the white judge removed from her case, alleging racial bias and claiming she couldn't receive a fair trial. 😂
Despite Abdul El-Sayed’s denials of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, his big-mouthed sister has publicly discussed her family’s history with the dangerous Islamist organization, including their mother’s activism during the 1970s.
Terror support runs in this family.
On the morning of the October 7 slaughters, the professor celebrated online by tweeting, “Good morning, freedom.”
After the massacres, she began calling for violent student uprisings on the streets of America:
“Let Palestine break this country wide open. Long live the student intifada.”
Her social media is flooded with antisemitic garbage, anti-American propaganda, and littered with support for Hamas and Marxism.
If Abdul El-Sayed wins the Senate seat in November, Professor Abdelhadi will have powerful access and influence to a U.S. senator, who is her brother.

On Friday, Henry Graham got 9 years for killing a man with a single punch on the Magnificent Mile.
The sentence will be reduced 50% by law.
And reduced by the 3 years he spent in jail already.
So, he'll be out in about 18 months.
