This is pretty funny.
@anotherglassbox If I'm honest, I'm a Mass Effect 1 on the PS3 type of guy.

@colliderfrosty @SonnyBunch Then congrats you’re a hack. But we already knew that. Playing soft ball with major corps and brown nosing for access makes you inherently biased.

@colliderfrosty @SonnyBunch So you’re basically admitting that anything you say about any movies is worthless because you would rather “play nice” than share your actual opinion?
Good to know.

@colliderfrosty @SonnyBunch Saying you need to play nice for access is not a good look. If the studio does punish that guy for posting a review after a public screening, then they’d be in the wrong.

@colliderfrosty @SonnyBunch What's the value prospect for your readers?
If we know that you're going to 'play nice' that means you're not a reliable source of whether something is worth our time

@colliderfrosty @SonnyBunch Openly admitting you play nice for access. Nobody should take you seriously if you just shill for studios.

@colliderfrosty any film critic or "journalist" who sides with or excuses a studio taking revenge against a guy who *didn't break an embargo because no embargo is in place for the screening he attended* is a hack who should be ashamed of himself

The idea that critics are beholden to some universal "embargo," even if they do not go to a preview screening where they agree to hold their review until a given time, is completely insane and antithetical to journalism. It turns critics into PR props for the studio.

The best movie he made was The Lego Movie, the worst movie she's made is Barbie.
Netflix fired film boss Dan Lin because he could not find the balance between streaming titles and theatrical release experiments, sources say.
Lin and Greta Gerwig did clash over the upcoming "Narnia" movie, but sources say the incident is not directly what led to his firing. r this year, Lin is said to have been “dismissive” to Gerwig regarding the progress of the "Narnia" movie, which carries a $250 million budget. Word traveled fast around Netflix that the meeting had gone south. Soon after, Lin disappeared from the film, per sources, and film VP Doug Belgrad stepped in as the primary Netflix exec overseeing the project (until, of course, he was laid off last week).

Thanks to the Emmys nominating the exact same shows every year people don't know about good stuff like Mr. Inbetween, a show about an Australian hit man who is a single parent raising his daughter. It's funny and heartfelt and one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

My biggest pet peeve relating to this is a news article on a petition or law suit that doesn’t link to the thing itself. So frustrating. Also the release date/ platform of the thing it's reviewing is another thing.
Seeing this even more frequently lately in features and reviews. So what exactly is the address of this new boutique? What does that entree you raved about cost? Um, I dunno. Why do you ask?

@rylandgracephd This movie and Masters of the Universe are two of the worst movies of the year and Amazon fans cannot cope to the point where they remove negative reviews off the films Wikipedia pages. Truly hateful nasty films.

I don't think people ever processed how truly wretched "Night Country" was. Remember when they threw AI slop on the walls and tried to play it off as a joke?

Why is vague posting specific to Twitter? I've never seen it in any other platform.

Let me be clear: there is *ZERO* justification for using your phone in the cinema, especially to record the movie. If you need to take a call, take it outside. But if you are in the cinema, WITH OTHER PEOPLE PRESENT, TURN. IT. OFF. You are not at home. PERIOD. END OF STORY.
