To be fair they did actually play with it in the early 2000
@Exalted_Speed I’m just surprised it took this long, this feels like a late-90’s/early-2000’s move

I imagine Marvel will actually address it otherwise they are going to have even worse Q and A’s for the next five years

Like look at this point with Zdarsky writing this and Avengers, a crossover called one day more and the like I think they are pushing the button for attention and we are going to be taking on it as an ongoing plot rather then the thing they liked to ignore

Do I think they will fix things? Who knows? They might if only because they feel it will be a big deal or sales. Like even now they are starting to get real comfortable showing old stories of them married

I see comics decided to be insane today. What do you mean I might have to do commentary on fridging and one more day?

it's IDW and on some level grunt work, she adapting someone else work but at the same time It makes me worry about how she will tranlate it into a comic
@Exalted_Speed How the fuck is she still getting work ?

This is not something you would hire a big person for ever and she never got to that point of being a big deal draw.

Like the comic WANTS to be a commentary on old books not holding up or the like, and how MUCH better things are, but books like Young Justice are like some of the FOUNDATION of what your saying, it's like spitting in the face of the guy who got you YOUR FUCKING JOB
@Exalted_Speed ....How the heck did someone missed the point of Mighty Endowed?

this is a writer who tried to get on her high horse about the "racism" in the old comic when she wrote out the black female character in the comic who was the leader of the team. It felt fucking backwards and condescending.
@Exalted_Speed "Hurr Durr, your nostalgia sucks, my writing is totally better" ass writing. Like there's writing angry..and then there's temper tantrum writing.

I like how she thought the Mighty Endowed joke was bad despite it being a criticism of the 90's over reliance on big boob super heroines of the time. LIKE HOW COULD YOU MISS THAT COMMENTARY, THAT COMMENTARY WAS ON YOUR FUCKING SIDE

It's an adaption but she's not a comic first person she comes from tv writing, that said, It might be fine just It's not a person I would put my faith in and since I had to look this up it's not part of the marketing so someone seems aware they are not big names.
@Exalted_Speed I mean surely she's not going to get a lot of leeway since it's just an adaptation
Right?

*The person who wrote Dark Crisis Young Justice is writing this
NOPE NEVERMIND I THE FLOOR HAS REACHED THE LOWEST POINT.
NOPE NEVERMIND I THE FLOOR HAS REACHED THE LOWEST POINT.
Adapting Worm to comics is going to be interesting because I think the comic will be given a bit more scrutiny if only because it's now competing directly with the great superhero books.

I will probably try to check it out after the first six issues are done and see how I feel but she's a writer I've never been impressed by
