@Variety Nobody gives a fuck. It's going to win Best Picture and be seen by generations.

There is nothing woke about the movie. Nobody in the real world cares about a 5 minute part in a 3 hour film. Stop embarrassing yourself and go outside.
@ErickWeber It’s only the opening weekend tho. We’ll see in a few weeks where it ends up. But Woke or not, the movie is not good based on tons of real reviews (including yours) that state the acting is mid, the pacing is off, the score negligible and the dialogue is stupid 🤷🏻♂️

December of 2016 was the last time the #Pirates signed a free agent, to a multi-year deal (Ivan Nova). Let me repeat that again - December of 2016. How doesn’t MLB look into this? For a team to go that long, with a multi-year commitment, is complete lunacy.

Personally, I'm getting sick of baseball's financial structure. Give us a salary cap so we can have parity like the NFL!

The Marlins are making $70M in rev sharing this year and are being expressly directed to spend it on player payroll and just... aren't. I know it's not fully equalizing but there are measures in place to allow the money to get spread out better and some teams just don't use it
The Dodgers' deal with ex-Marlins Tanner Scott leaves them with $375 M 2025 payroll. The Marlins entire payroll this decade (six years, including 2025) is $429 M. The refusal of the union and MLB to agree on a cap and a floor has ruined the sport for at least a handful of teams.
