🍾 After a year of intensive building, I’m thrilled to officially announce the launch of @IMIpolicy.

IMI is a new think tank that goes beyond research and white papers – we’re also building video games, simulations, and experiences to better communicate complex policy issues.

Cities don't need a foreign policy.

Local leaders must focus on the essentials: safe streets, public works, and vibrant communities where people want to live and work.

There's a lot of great wisdom in @AshleySchapitl's interview with former DC Mayor Anthony Williams.

Check it out in Capital Commonsense: capitalcommonsense.com/p/an-interview…

"93% of the houses occupied in 1940 did not exist in 1880"

You may think you've seen a lot of housing permitted near you, but it's nothing compared to the pre-zoning golden age

Democrats should really consider getting on board with self-driving cars, I don't think the alliance with the Teamsters is paying large dividends.
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody. Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workers’ pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs. The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.

As a Central Valley kid, it warms my heart to see Fresno involved in the future of freight
Today, @KodiakRobotics has reached another defining Physical AI milestone as we build the future of freight.

We’ve signed a binding agreement with @DTLTrans that is the first of its kind in the industry.

DTL will deploy the Kodiak Driver in 75 driverless trucks they own and s our Driver-As-A-Service business model, and it represents the latest signal that Physical AI is ready to scale and redefine logistics. Let’s go!

A group of us have been working to bring together people who want a little more common sense from DC government. We’re still kicking around names, but we know what we want to do: help shape our city’s future, support commonsense candidates, and push for a government that gets the tting together over drinks on Tuesday, November 17 at 6 PM at The Golden Age. Come meet the group and help shape what comes next!

Chinese AV companies will operate in many capital cities by the end of 2027, while Western AV companies will be hobbled by their own governments.
