NOT FORGOTTEN: November 26, 2016, the Ugandan military lead by Gen Peter Olwelu, under the command of Gen.@KagutaMuseveni , violently invaded the Kasese palace. The massacre left countless men, women, and children dead, while many others were tortured, detained, and denied justice.
The king was placed under house arrest, and many innocents were forced to plead guilty to crimes they never committed after years in prison . None of those responsible for these heinous acts have faced justice, and those who were jailed still languish without fair trial or compensation. The horrors of that day will never be forgotten. We stand in remembrance of those who lost their lives and continue to demand justice for Kasese.
