A few days ago, I spoke with Mzee Saava George on phone and he gave me a powerful prayer. I didn't realise it was the last time I would speak with him in this life. May his soul rest in peace🙏🏾
Very saddened to learn of the passing of our elderly comrade and friend, Mzee Saava George who has been sickly for some time. Mzee Saava has fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he has kept the faith till the very end. He has been such an impassioned advocate for rnance. May his soul rest in peace.

Just received very disturbing news concerning the abrupt passing of our brother, comrade and fellow leader, Hon. Charles Matovu, who served as Member of Parliament for Busiro South in the last Parliamentary term and had his victory robbed on gunpoint in the January election. Very trengthen all of us.

Joining the rest of well-meaning Ugandans to demand for the urgent release of Counsel Erias Lukwago, whom we understand was today rushed from jail to Mulago Hospital in very critical condition. We owe ourselves a country where no amount of political disagreement is greater than and human dignity; a country where no citizen is subjected to sham judicial processes just because they oppose those in power! #FreeEriasLukwago #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

"Ugandans have discovered that, increasingly, there is nowhere to hide. Civic life here is defined by thickening webs of state surveillance built with foreign help. ... Technology has created an intrusive eye that never blinks, a stealthy weapon for dictators keen to stifle speech and thought."

I visited Uganda amid an ongoing reign of terror and saw that, for all my criticism of traditional U.S. foreign policy&human rights, it's now immeasurably worse. Trump/Rubio's withdrawal from public diplomacy leaves China, unchecked abuse & surveillance.

In this stirring video, a mother asks how a regime that brutalised her during the January 2026 elections for simply holding the Ugandan flag can now claim the moral authority to forcefully send her S6-leaver child to Kyankwanzi for “patriotism” training!
Having come to the ns are now politically awake, the Museveni dictatorship is now trying to indoctrinate our unsuspecting children. WE MUST NOT ALLOW IT!

Dear Daughter,
One paradoxical thing about me and being a father is that my greatest hope is also one of my greatest fears.
I hope to see my children grow, spread their wings and fly freely into the world. At the same time, I fear for them as they fly into a world that can As you grow older, my girl, I pray that you will be safe wherever life takes you and that you will find favor, love and happiness.
And no matter how big you grow and how many years pass, you will always be my little girl.
Happy birthday, my dearest Shalom Namagembe Nalunkuuma. ❤️
Taata loves you beyond words, beyond time, and beyond measure.

We've learnt of the arrest of our comrades Ayesiga Promise aka Mr. Nsi, Sarah Namutebi, MC Mose, councillor Sserunjoji, and others as they attended a Holy Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bulenga (Kikaaya). These comrades had gone to give thanks and dedicate leader @HEBobiwine as their way of marking #BobiWinesDay - a day designated by our mobilisation team to reignite the spirits of our supporters and encourage them to do good works. The leadership of the Church was aware of their presence and offered prayers. As the regime moves around doing their own mobilisation activities, some of which are outrightly illegal, they feel threatened even by @NUP_Ug supporters attending Church. Currently, the Church remains surrounded by police. We must all condemn the stinking double standards and demand for the release of our comrades.

What this leaked video of a soldier checking Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi's blood pressure while under incomunicado detention proves is how institutionalised the system of torture in Uganda is. All comrades who have been to those torture chambers will tell you that after being then sends in other soldiers who claim to be medical doctors to check on you and determine whether you're medically fit to take in more beatings! They torture you, treat you and torture you again! At times these 'doctors' come in when victims are about to be released or taken to court. In such cases they inject victims with unknown substances to quickly reduce swellings before victims appear in public. Then there are those whom they send to speak to victims and convince them to abandon the struggle. At times such operatives are also detained so that they come in as your fellow captives, but the mission is to compromise some unsuspecting persons.
In all, I am glad that the stories so many Ugandans have narrated in the past are now getting backed by video evidence. I encourage all patriotic Ugandans to continue using their cameras to expose the madness, the crimes, the rot. There will be accountability for the crimes being committed against our people!

Museveni's criminal son confirms what we all know: that our brother, Sam Mugumya, who has been missing for over a year is under his personal custody. This after his spokesman, Chris Magezi tried to whitewash and cover up these crimes by trying to dismiss Lt. Mabonga Herbert's rications.
Like he has done to many other victims, he is promising to shoot him to death.
Nowhere in this modern world has any person abused power so much and publicly owned up so many crimes against humanity! We are lucky that this brutal criminal is writing his own charge-sheet before the whole world. And yes, the whole world will see him come tumbling down like a house of cards, and answer for these crimes one by one.
Hang in there brother Sam. May you outlive those who are taking you through hell.

Here is a letter which Lt. Mabonga Herbert Matanda wrote to Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi while he was in that torture chamber, where he spent 19 days. He passed on the original letter to him, but took a picture of it, which he released yesterday.
Mabonga represents thousands of senior, ficers in all departments of UPDF, police and intelligence services who vehemently oppose the criminal system but are held captive and cannot speak out. The only difference is that Mabonga had the courage to speak out. We have long told the people of Uganda that each time we're arrested or abducted, these officers will approach us and tell us how they're more disgusted by the system than most people can imagine.
Those who agree with the system and its atrocities are a very small fraction who are privileged and benefit from the pervasive corruption and nepotism within the forces. I remain hopeful that one day, the patriotic officers will have enough courage to stand with the oppressed people of Uganda and live true to their oath to pay allegiance to the nation of Uganda and not the falling regime of blood and national shame. UGANDA WILL BE FREE!

You can easily pass by this house and think it's a normal home. Yet this is a torture chamber manned by SFC, located at Abayita Ababiri, Kabaale B Village on Entebbe Road. At this house and the adjacent facilities, Ugandans and non-Ugandans are subjected to incredible torture. that some victims could not take it and when they died, they were simply buried behind this house in unmarked graves.
And yet this is just one of the many torture chambers operated by the Museveni system. There are several such places in every Division of Kampala and Wakiso, and in most districts of Uganda. Sadly, these are houses in our neighborhoods, and the people who commit atrocities against our people live amongst us. Thankfully, they're being exposed one by one, and so shall they account for every crime committed against our people!
