@tsarnick My God, $5 trillion needed to advance AI research and expand compute. What’s next? Do we need the whole wealth of the world for this?

@tsarnick Masa does not have the money. Microsoft money you think you have is not for Stargate it is for Azure! The only way Stargate becomes a reality is when Elon takes control of Open AI again!

@tsarnick He’s anticipating significant inflation for next 4 years of tariffs in his future pricing model of AI compute clusters.

@tsarnick Would be curious to hear Sam's thoughts on how DeepSeek just matched o1 performance with 1/100th of the compute. Sometimes bigger isn't always better.

@tsarnick The investment in AI may keep increasing as its importance increases, economically and in many other ways.

For anyone interested in how AI may change our economy and society, read "The Last AI" by S. M. Sohn, the book that introduces AI Economics!

@tsarnick Not it won't. Long before that entirely new AI architectures that don't need that much compute will be up and running. Miniaturization, Dematerialization, Decentralization, all pushing towards the edge will make the mega compute cluster a Dinosaur tech.

@tsarnickdiculous, if ASI pans out it will become more efficient, not less.... because by most measures we've reached the intellectual plateau centuries ago... sure trillions through inflation, but technological innovation should keep that at bay - it's just technology, and technology hasn't done much but change the scenery. Heraclitus: φύσις κρύπτεσθαι φιλεῖ ("Nature loves to hide"). The Greeks unveiled her first principles; we merely polish the veil... and polish it to perfection, we will, if these Polycrateans don't choke the life out of everything before we get a chance.... TL;DR All of modernity is merely a footnote to Plato.

@tsarnick I believe we can achieve an intelligence explosion with our current power capacity if we had the best algorithm or working neuramorphic chips.

@tsarnick BS. he is gate keeping and looking to slow drip the tech to civilian use. It’s why we paid him the 500$ .

@tsarnick Stargate, yep, there is the solution.
For interstellar travel.
Particle Physics and teleportation neens AI from this point on.
Don't let Musk take over AI. He is a paycho maniac.

@tsarnick Sam Altman’s perspective highlights a crucial point: the rapid evolution of AI infrastructure is reshaping our future. The Stargate project is ambitious, but the real power lies in harnessing that $5 trillion for transformative educational solutions.

@tsarnick Stargate's $500B might be big, but $5T AI clusters are coming. Time to rethink data ownership & incentives. PublicAI's decentralized approach could be the key 🏛️🧠

@tsarnick This is all sounding too much like hype. President Trump in my opinion needs to put people in charge of United States AI of the quality of Elon Musk. People who understand the technology deeply.

@tsarnick Wow, $5 trillion AI clusters? PublicAI's $11 million in contracts will look like pocket change! We'll need an army of data experts to power that kind of compute. Time to get crowdsourcing, Sam! 🤖💰
