Sometimes Codex blows my mind.
Last Halloween, we built a giant head that looks out our front window, with eyes that track people walking by using computer vision. (See the next post for a video 👻)
We want to make some updates this year, so I asked Codex to help.
It used todesk Fusion, inspect the 3D models, and grab their dimensions. It listened to my feedback on what I wanted to change, built all-new STLs, created a complete parts list, and rendered a fully interactive demo of the functionality… all within Codex.

The software searches a database of shaders/processing inspiration. AI adapts to fit the 16-segment display, then the result is compiled into new firmware and delivered to the piece over Wi-Fi.
