Awesome to host @CalBlockchain at @ycombinator last night.

Excited to see the stablecoin, tokenization, agentic finance startups this room is going to build in the next few years.

The percentage of solo founders at @ycombinator went from 3% to 20% in 2 years.

In the age of AI, the right, motivated person is unstoppable.

Excited for the Make Something Agents Want Hackathon at Y Combinator this weekend.

So many companies are ripe for disruption now that agents are the user.

Amazon banning agents is the first opportunity I've seen since Amazon was founded for a startup to create an Amazon competitor. People will want agents to buy stuff for them. It will be one of the main use cases. And they won't want to use some Amazon-supplied agent to do it.

The US CLARITY Act has an initial vote this week in the Senate.

We’re bullish on the Clarity Act - for the future of finance and for American fintech startups.

By specifying regulators and clarifying rules, Clarity makes it easier for American founders to build with blockchains.

InsForge is co-hosting the "Make Something Agents Want" hackathon at YC HQ in SF, October 17-18.

We're teaming up with @blaxelAI, @inkbox_ai, @manufact, @stripe, and more, who are all building the future with agents as primary users.

Come and build on the agent-native cloud!
We're hosting a "Make Something Agents Want" hackathon October 17-18 at @ycombinator in SF.

One of the biggest trends we see: Agents are replacing humans as users, coders, and decision makers. But most products are still built primarily for humans.

You'll get to learn from the best.

This event is hosted by YC teams at the front lines of building for agents:
@primitive @insforge @ArmatureYCP26 @blaxelAI @inkbox_ai @stripe @manufact

They'll be sharing everything they've learnt.

This is why I'm so negative on early incentive token launches.

Instead of focusing on building a great product and having customers love you, it turns into a game of financial engineering. And pivoting is painful.
Here it is.

Nail in the coffin. This one is for the $ME community who were forgotten. x.com/i/article/2097…

Was fun to kickoff the Stablecoin Speakeasy in San Francisco last night with tons of builders.

At @ycombinator, we are wildly bullish on stablecoins, and it was fun to share the past and future of stablecoins.

Thanks to @stripe @privy_io @Stablecoin @tempo @segall_max @sternhenri for the invite — and for all they've done to turn stablecoins into finance's "room temperature superconductors."

I was a juror on a double homicide trial in San Francisco.

A crucial witness admitted to lying on the stand, multiple friends of the deceased refused to testify, there was attempted witness tampering, the defendant testified.

Some reflections👇

This has broken down in modern society with social networks and partisan news that only shows one side of an argument.

As I wrote for @qz, selective facts and filter bubbles are corrosive:

We ultimately (unanimously) convicted on the carjacking charges, but hung on the homicide charges. We couldn't agree on whether the defendant met the legal standard for self defense.
