Just how much has the Vivek Ramaswamy ad broken through?

His rival, Amy Acton, became today the first Dem candidate for governor since April to be the top fundraiser on ActBlue over the preceding week.

(The top spot had been entirely held by Senate candidates.)

Alaskans don’t need any help voting for their preferred candidates, and the State of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year’s ballot. The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit.

This Dem staffer issue is good news for decent, normal people - you’ll stand above the competition
Rep. Mike Thompson's former staffer TJ Adams-Falconer cuts an ad for his challenger in #CA04:

"Thompson's been there too long. ... Mike Thompson told me directly he plans to die in office. I was Mike Thompson's former communications director and I would vote for Eric Jones."

Ya know, I’m not sure I buy that connectivity between ted stevens’s prosecution and new hampshire primary voters having no choice but to turn to donald trump

(i’m being a wise guy, but the actual demographics of his primary support would underscore this)
Career prosecutors in the Justice Department with Democrat sympathies literally committed prosecutorial misconduct to get Ted Stevens & Bush didn't intervene to prevent this travesty of justice because he didn't want to seem political or play the same game the Democrats were. That's partly why Republicans turned to Trump who has no compulsions against fighting back.

The Trump Administration is screaming “show me the money!”

1) Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, the UAE’s spy chief, bought 49% of Trump’s crypto company for $500 million, four days before the inauguration.

2) Next, the Sheikh just happens to be in the Trump investor group, lead by a bidding on $20 billion of Lukoil’s assets.

3) And in Alaska, a gas project started by Don Jr.’s college friend was secretly funded by Novatek — a Russian energy giant — through a UAE company.

You don’t have to be a PhD student to figure out what’s going on. Any one of these deals would make an alderman in Chicago blush.

As you keep paying more and more at the pump, the Trump family’s account is overflowing with billions.

Kevin Cramer, Dale Brown, John Wooden 🇺🇸🦬
Learning of Dale Brown's death makes my heart hurt badly. I immediately went to my voice mail box to hear him tell me he loves me again and again. Dale was one of a kind. He was the most generous soul I have ever known, and likely ever will. I am blessed like thousands of others, oved him and to have learned endless lessons. He was a proud son of North Dakota with a heart as big as the prairies themselves. As we mourn and remember Dale over the next several days, like you, I will reflect a lot. Each memory will heal our hearts a little as we smile and laugh and admire this incredible friend to literally thousands. I have to stop for now. I cannot see through the tears. I love you Dale! Thank you for loving me when I didn't deserve it. God is good!

A really good, smart read on Ohio and the GOP.
The fight over Vivek’s ad marks an opening salvo in the post-midterm GOP battle:

Can Repubs be a Trump party without Trump?

To date, dime store Trumpism has been a stone cold loser

Is L.A. mayoral candidate Nithya Raman a capitalist?

"I'm a capitalist and I'm also a Democratic Socialist...we need to make sure capitalism works without harm to workers... to poor people."

She says the DSA is a "big tent" but she disagrees with members who call to abolish Senate.

North Brooklyn is a hotspot of Mamdani voters per figures from last year’s mayoral.

“We should be forever grateful to Pat Conroy, our very own prince of tides,” Sanders told the crowd at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on March 8, 2016.

Conroy once told a reporter that Sanders “is the greatest storyteller to ever come out of the South.” In his collection of stories in “Pat Conroy’s Cookbook,” Conroy called Sanders “mythical and larger than life” and titled his chapter about Sanders the “Greatest of all South Carolinians.”

Conroy was enchanted by Sanders’ voice, which he called “one of the most beautiful instruments I have ever heard.” That voice is “part wheeze, part thunder, with dashes of brogue, drawl and twang. With stresses and pauses, he seasons each phrase. A note of surprise often creeps into his voice, as if he is thinking, ‘Isn’t this amazing?

The difference between Dems doing well or even just “ok” on Nov. 3 vs doing something historic will depend on how many voters under 30 actually vote. This poll matches every x-tab I’ve seen this cycle. GenZ has shifted sharply against the party in power. The only unknown is the turnout
🚨Democrats lead Republicans 63%–26% among likely voters ages 18–29 in our Harvard Youth Poll.

63% of #GenZ say their midterm vote is opposition to Trump and his policies.

Young voters are poised to deliver a sharp rebuke. Here’s what’s driving it. 🧵

Time for some game theory

It’s Nov. 4

Dems have won NC, ME, TX, KS, OH, but lost MI, MN

All of DC is waiting for an Alito-written opinion on the contested Alaska Senate race

Every Senate Democrat is wearing a hoodie on the floor in honor of their new leader, John Fetterman
