These findings are a damning indictment of Jewish pupils amid rising antisemitism. As the report rightly recommends, antisemitism must be named for what it is, not obscured by generic condemnations of hate.
Britain’s responsibility to tackle antisemitism cannot stop at the school gates. It must extend to every corner of society, including education unions, universities and teaching staff, driving fundamental, systemic change to confront the hatred and incitement that have increasingly poisoned Britain’s streets in recent years.
We welcome the report’s clear call for action. Schools, colleges and unions must be held accountable and take urgent, decisive action to confront antisemitism, protect Jewish pupils and ensure that no student is left to face hatred in silence.
This is a step in the right direction.

Today in Oslo, the auction house "Valkyrie Historical Auctions" is expected to hold an auction of a fragment of a Torah scroll that was looted by German SS soldiers during the Holocaust.
It is a parchment sheet from a Torah scroll that was defaced by the SS, and was even used as wrapping paper by SS soldiers.
At the same time, the Norwegian government is expected to cancel its financial support for visits by Norwegian students to extermination camps.

Israel expects the Norwegian government to put an immediate stop to this moral obscenity.

As boycotts, denial of services, delegitimization, and double standards target Jewish communities worldwide, I also asked every government which has endorsed the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism whether it is actually living by the definition it has committed to using. The United States will continue to call out the blatant hypocrisy demonstrated by far too many governments in the fight against antisemitism.

Meanwhile, a Dublin hotel reportedly cancels delegates’ rooms simply because they are attending it.
No legitimate reason given. Just people attending a conference against antisemitism.
Is this Ireland’s idea of fighting antisemitism? Hosting international conferences while delegates face discrimination in Dublin?
The Irish government cannot use the fight against antisemitism as a diplomatic PR exercise while failing to confront it at home.

I met with Additional Minister in the Ministry of Finance of Israel Zeev Elkin, who is here now with the Israeli delegation for the anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy. It was a horrific tragedy, but it is important that they took the time to come here during these days of Russia is trying to make extremely difficult for our people with its aerial terror. Of course, it was Iran that provided Russia with the technology to produce these jet-powered “shaheds,” and it has used essentially the same kind of weapon to attack Israel. We discussed these and other threats, as well as the overall situation in the Middle East. Strong relations between Ukraine and Israel could certainly contribute to our shared security.

This is not merely unacceptable. It is a profound and ongoing institutional failure that demands accountability and decisive action.
No Jewish patient should fear prejudice when seeking medical care, and no Jewish healthcare professional should face hatred or intimidation at work or in their union.
Antisemitism has no place in the NHS or in any other organisation. This is where the UK Government must actually reset its approach and take decisive action to confront and eradicate antisemitism.

We join the international scientific community and her family and many friends in mourning the passing of Professor Ada Yonath, 2009 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and the first Israeli woman to win the award.
Her legacy lives on through her into the ribosome, the cell’s protein factory, and the countless students she inspired.
Our thoughts are with her close ones - may her memory be a blessing!
