The anti-Israel obsession in Norway's Socialist Left party has reached the self-harm stage.
Demands by activists to boycott Israeli medicines are likely to endanger both patient health and the local health system.

Or perhaps it’s a testament to the diversity of Israeli society and the unprecedented political engagement of Arab voters.
But your obsessive hatred of Israel makes it impossible to acknowledge a positive without immediately resorting to a fictitious smear.

Sorry to say this:
But the incredible surge for Palestinian-led parties in Israel is a victory from which they will not recover.
It is likely to provoke a mighty backlash in Jewish Israeli society, with dire consequences.

Here at the embassy in Oslo, we voted early - and our ballots have already arrived in Israel.
Today, it's the turn of over 7 million Israeli citizens to decide the political direction of our nation for the coming years.
The polls close at 10pm tonight!

🇯🇴🇮🇱 Today, we mark 32 years since the signing of the Israel–Jordan Peace Treaty: a historic milestone that laid the foundation for dialogue and cooperation between our two countries.
Especially during challenging times, the strategic treaty remains a cornerstone of regional stability and a solid platform for future mutually beneficial initiatives.

Ah yes, the junction made them do it.
Heaven forbid these “peaceful terrorists” would ever turn violent without a piece of asphalt provoking them.
@washingtonpost, this isn’t journalism. It’s narrative shaping and defending terrorists who murdered two Israelis.
Shameful.

Two Palestinian gunmen attacked a road junction near Hebron on Friday, prompting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to direct Israel’s military to prepare for a “full lockdown” of the West Bank.
The militant group Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. wapo.st/47AMafU

The failure of @EspenBarthEide to condemn or even acknowledge the murder of two Israelis, while focusing exclusively on the Palestinians, is both unacceptable and the height of politically-driven, selective outrage.
Terror must be unequivocally condemned and defeated - and defend itself against Palestinian terror.

It seems the Statesman is taking The Onion as its guide
Owen Jones has, for the last three years, revealed himself to be a man of enormous courage, integrity and truthfulness. No one should think for a minute that his relentless defence of Palestinian rights and historical truth is easy or comes without heavy personal costs. Throughout the genocide in Gaza, Jones remained a tireless bur rigorous and supremely decent voice. I suspect part of what initially moved him was the strong displeasure in being treated like an idiot by the official propaganda – a noble motive in itself – but there is no question he has been genuinely touched by the images of suffering arriving daily from Gaza. And yet, how does his intellectual fixation on a battle between left and right help us understand the horrors of Gaza, or move us to stop them? My impression is that the opposite has happened. People look at what is happening in Gaza and ask themselves what a person on the right or on the left should think. In many cases this is ideology. In most, simply careerism and group association. Jones shows how limited the perspective really is. How about, like the author himself, asking how a human being should feel? How about returning to the world of facts and feelings rather than our endless Marvel franchise? newstatesman.com/culture/books/…

Only the U.N. could have a rapporteur on counterterrorism who is opposed to countering terrorism.
Disgusting: U.N. rapporteur on counterterrorism Ben Saul condemns Israel for waging a “vengeful war” against Hamas: “Hamas invaded Israel for 48 hours, and then was repulsed. Israel was going to be fine...”

Palestinian terror groups didn’t embed in UNRWA and NGOs to help civilians.
They did it for cover.
Using human rights, aid funds, and international immunity as a shield for terrorism isn't humanitarian work, it's exploitation.

Another Hamas terrorist among @MSF's "humanitarian" Gaza staff. Ending the charitable tax exempt status of this hijacked NGO is long overdue.

This is Israel. Young men and women at a music festival singing Shir LaShalom (A Song for Peace), the iconic Israeli song sung at the 1995 peace rally after which Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated.
A song about peace and the hope of seeing it in our lifetime.
The day we see a video like this coming out of Gaza or Ramallah will be the day we can begin to believe that peace might actually be possible.

Quite some mental gymnastics to advocate against the right of a Jewish state to exist, while simultaneously advocating for the establishment of a Palestinian state in its place.
I'm not sure why leftist pro Palestine politicians struggle like this and look so defensive and evasive. There are multiple straightforward and obvious answers to this pro-Israel, weaponized, dumb question, starting with 'no state has a right to exist, people have a right to exist'. I laid it all out here:

I strongly condemn the severe acts of violence by Israeli rioters in the area of Taybeh.
A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence.
The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned in order to assist the law enforcement authorities, who are working to identify the attackers and bring them to justice.
Without detracting from the severity of the incident, it is unfortunate that the visit was not coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped safeguard the visitors’ security.

Pleased to address an important conference at Kristkirken in Bergen about the connection between anti-Zionism and antisemitism.
At times of rising antisemitism worldwide, the support of non-Jewish allies is vital.

Delighted to exercise my democratic right here in Oslo, and be among the first to vote in Israel's general election.
Influencing the future of the world's only Jewish state via the ballot box is both a privilege and a right that cannot be taken for granted.

I’m assuming this screenshot is genuine. The fact that someone like this holds an official UN post explains why it is impossible to trust the UN when it observes or comments on Israel. This is a great sadness and makes establishing truth vastly harder.

After the violence against Israelis in Amsterdam and the Aston Villa debacle, it’s time for authorities to confront the extremists - not punish Israeli supporters.
Stop blaming Israeli football fans. Start tackling the home-grown hate.

Hate is in the air.
I planned to drive to Alkmaar to support Hapoel Be'er Sheva 🇮🇱⚽️, but all Israeli supporters were banned by the Municipality due to “very high risk.”
When Hezbollah and Hamas cheerleaders are allowed to march and celebrate Oct 7th massacre, no wonder it's f stopping the extremists, they banned the fans.
Stand against hate, not against football fans. ⚽🔴
