despite the unfortunate timing, we take disclosures seriously at @typesafeai

at approximately 6:49PM this Friday evening, we became aware of a massive unauthorized leak of ALL customer noul outputs

in effort to maximize transparency, here is the link: gist.github.com/diogo149/81003…

imo this is the right attitude - dont blame AI for finding the bugs, just fucking lock in on clearing all the bugs asap

as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

I'm 41 years old today.

Feels like I've lived multiple lives at this point... professional musician, lived in Kenya, got sober, 8x surgeries, mold toxicity, mercury poisoning, 2 kids, beautiful wife, 100M startup.

My gratitude is in the little things today. Waking up and ibu). My kids still wanting to spend time with me. My wife writing me cute notes this morning. I'm sober.

God is good. If I didn't get sober 22 years ago I wouldn't even be writing this.

Change happens slowly, and then all at once. Whatever you are battling through... it will end. So keep going. I'm grateful I didn't give up on my health, my family, my business, and God. It turns out the struggles I've gone through have been the greatest blessings in my life. Funny how that works!

The China state-aligned threat actor Storm-0940 used the agentic AI penetration testing framework ARTEX to automate attacks targeting hundreds of organizations globally across a broad range of industries. Microsoft Threat Intelligence assesses that Storm-0940 was responsible for the recently disclosed ConnectWise supply chain compromise of a multitenant application. msft.it/6018aakEE

Our investigation found that Storm-0940's use of ARTEX accelerated the speed of compromised application abuse to authenticate to target environments through applications that had already been granted access, allowing the threat actor to operate without requiring an interactive user sign-in. AI-accelerated follow-on activity included reconnaissance, application credential changes, and attempts to modify privileges that could enable expanded or persistent access.

Read our blog for a detailed analysis and indicators of compromise (IOCs), along with Microsoft Defender detections, protection recommendations, and guidance on investigating service principal sign-ins and unexpected application credential or privilege changes.

What a day…

The future of cybersecurity is swarms. Swarms of agents attacking and swarms of agents defending.

Or rather, fleets vs. swarms: Governed agents on defense, vs cheap and relentless agents on offense.

Whoever coordinates faster wins.

Ya'll, let's get Swyx an award 👇

If you enjoyed and got benefit from @aiDotEngineer and @latentspacepod, do this please (or ask your personal agents to do it).
Excited to announce the Cosign Awards: celebrating exceptional people, companies, and products that had a massive impact in 2026.

cosign.co/awards

Anyone can nominate and vote. Award winners will be chosen by the public in conjunction with a panel of judges, including lennysan, @packyM, @amasad, and many more. We’ll host an event in December honoring the winners (10 per category).

For people categories, we’re mostly focused on everyone except the CEO–everyone else building the company behind the scenes.

Companies with the most amount of people nominations will be listed on our “Top Companies to Work For” page.

True to form, at Product Hunt I helped launch the Golden Kitty awards a decade ago to recognize great products. Soon after I launched the Rise Awards, honoring executives and ICs building companies that make them. The Cosign Awards is the next iteration.

Railway is compromised, rotate all API keys as soon as possible

Deployments are down so don’t wait to redeploy

Attackers are draining keys in real time, we didn’t lose much but can confirm this is still an active attack

Stay safe friends

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

Dibu recently joined our family!

He’s a 10-week-old golden retriever. My kids love him, but I love him more 😂

My wife is from Argentina, so naturally his namesake is Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez, the goalkeeper for Argentina’s national team. But I get credit for the name!
