Why didn't the @GOP listen, @Cernovich?
@Cernovich

The GOP is going to be annihilated on their current trajectory on #studentloans. All palace intrigue and culture wars being equal.

You can't make these numbers go away.

Every single college loan should be written off as they have not done ANYTHING to protect workers and have created the conditions of completely unrepayable debts. Wicked scum will say "pay your debts!" But in reality, the schools are all paid. They already received their money. It is the currency issuing government and their ghouls that collect and "service" the loan payments... they created an industry of loan servicing for the currency issuing federal government. Think about that.

cancel all student loan debt for everyone
Now that Democrats control Congress, what is their plan to cancel student loan debt and free millions of Americans from debt servitude? Education should be a public good, not a lifetime financial burden. #CancelStudentDebt

I only just learned about Colom this week, but the guy has impeccable vibes and is genuinely likeable. It’s not surprising that a nice, politically moderate southern man with a happy warrior attitude, who is willing to go anywhere and talk to anyone—including at a Trump rally—can pull off an upset over a senator who seems missing in action, especially during a wave election.

I highly doubt Mississippi will stay even remotely blue for TOO long—especially if Republicans get their act together. But Colom is a great example of how an insurgent can take out a career politician who simply stops campaigning and acts entitled to their “safe” seat.
JUST IN: Scott Colom has above a 99% chance to win the Mississippi Senate race

Why is it considered radical to think that ANYONE who works 40+ hours a week in the richest country on earth, should be able to afford food, a home, and a reasonable standard of life? This was normal 70 years ago with less technology and less worker productivity.

The cost of not doing UBI exceeds the cost of doing UBI.
If you think helping people is expensive, wait until you calculate the cost of abandoning them.

Emergency rooms, shelters, policing, courts, prisons, and the human cost of lives lost.

Poverty is expensive. Homelessness is expensive. Neglect is expensive.

Investing in people isn't just compassion, it's common sense.

And sheesh, we're paying a fortune to keep doing the wrong thing.

That has been true since well before Covid.

They retired you. Accept the will of the people and go home.
Election integrity is not a mere suggestion – it is the keystone of free and fair elections that have always guided the course of our nation throughout history. The counting process for the 5th District election has not halted. The count is ongoing in accordance with North Carolina state law. The continuing process, our laws, and faithful election administration will determine the election in the 5th District – and nothing else.

At my request, nonpartisan election observers under the guidance of the Committee on House Administration will be present across the 5th District as the count continues, and will serve as important, watchful eyes to ensure that this sacred process is not impeded and that all legal votes are counted in a consistent, thorough manner.

These observers are dispatched in accordance with the Confirmation of Congressional Observer Access Act for the purpose of observing all parts of the election process including voting, ballot processing, and ballot tabulation. Additionally, they are responsible for gathering information as they monitor the election process.

My work in service to the constituents of the 5th District remains ongoing, and my offices continue to stand at the ready to assist. The process will continue.
