If good & beautiful things are to survive, we need to expand our cognition. Modern day evil is stochastic and distributed, spreading like a slime mold through the inner substrate of our lives, nearly imperceptible, slowly poisoning us from within. The human mind isn’t designed to fight a memetic enemy of this scale. We need to become supernatural agents of the good

My wokest opinion is that human biodiversity is cool (ethnicities are basically tomes of ancient biological information extracted from eons of interactions w/ a particular biome) and that smashing everyone together into a greige worker class sludge would be a tragic loss

Everyone saying “this isn’t a woke opinion” is missing the point that I am saying I am not at all woke lol

Humanity is a computer and the computations are incredibly hard won. I’d love for people who want to deconstruct everything (i.e., delete information) could make an actually compelling case for why it’s worth it to do that

I am in awe of how boring hyperindividualism is. Everything revolves around the “self-discovery journeys” of the most insipid people imaginable, doing nothing but gazing into their own skulls and converting resources into shit & piss. The fact that the words “human possibilities” could be made so small and uninspiring as to mean “people having complicated feelings about their genitals” really says it all. What a failure
Gender binary puts horrible boundaries on human possiblities

Still thinking about this post. Human creative innovation is not spontaneous but is actually a byproduct of solving problems. Art deco (for example) was not some randomly-inspired force of will to create beauty; it happened because metallurgy became just advanced enough to create everything out of metal, and because zoning laws required skyscrapers to have a stepped shape at the top.
This is why top-down efforts at changing our civilizational aesthetic (like those guys building the giant Greek statues) don’t work. They don’t change the “problem” we’re solving as a civilization, which is the actual source of the bleak & dreary surroundings we find ourselves in

a pattern i observe is that new (like REALLY NEW) aesthetics are usually residue of solving problems
eg. the iconic inktrap fonts became popular bc ink would pool in corners when printing on rough paper

I’m happy to be wrong about this, but I’m wondering if trying to solve for aesthetics directly will always be inferior to aesthetics as residue from other problems; maybe the things that are the most beautiful & surprising to us just can’t come from the human mind wandering around alone, but must instead come from the ongoing interaction & play between human & world, which is most salient when we’re doing what homo sapiens does best (i.e., developing & using technology)

Has anything become more beautiful as a consequence of becoming more universal (i.e. more broadly accessible and legible)? It seems like there is a sweet spot - e.g., making the Bible more accessible to illiterate peasants resulted in stained glass, which is arguably a more beautiful representation than words on a page - but beyond a certain scope, things seem to degenerate and become ugly. An airport terminal optimized for use by all humans on Earth is sterile & purposefully forgettable (i.e., less beautiful). The universal language on the internet is brainrot; the universal sound is some swampy local minimum between reggaeton & drill

Because the Boomer Holy War, otherwise known as the Second World War, is the creation myth, the biblical Genesis, of the political world order we inhabit. History begins in 1945, Year Zero, when the Allied and Axis powers, the cosmic forces of absolute Good and Evil, clashed for dominion over the world.
What we call “Western Values” are the liberal American values of the postwar order: unregulated global capitalism, liberal democracy, individualism, civil rights, and equality. Three generations of men have been indoctrinated into this cult, which is ultimately a secularized heresy of Aristotelian humanist Christianity, repackaged as a universal moral doctrine.
Hitler has assumed the role of Satan, while some grotesque amalgamation of Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King Jr. occupies the throne of Jesus Christ. The Nazis are the defeated legions of Hell, and the Holocaust is the ultimate revelation of Evil against which all subsequent political and moral questions must be judged.
You’re not allowed to have nice things like community, traditional families, immigration restrictions, or any meaningful sense of national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity as a White person because any deviation from the sacred doctrines of the postwar consensus threatens to bring about Holocaust 2. To believe in any of these is to practice heresy. Racism is the ultimate heresy, and White guilt is origin sin, without a path to atonement.
The further removed each generation becomes from 1945, the weaker its attachment to this haphazard, pseudo religious worldview grows. In 13 years, an entire century will have passed since the outbreak of the Second World War.
The moralizing about the Holocaust, the obsessive fixation on stopping identity politics among native Westerners, the relentless insistence on feminism, diversity, and the ideological apparatus of the postwar order will resemble the exhausted dogmas of a dying secular religion whose founding revelation has lost its power over the living.
This is obvious as the materialistic promise of infinite growth and wealth has failed, and mass immigration, diversity and the third world are an existential threat to westerners who have no socioeconomic opportunities and a poor shot at family for formation.

Genuine question, why do normies get vehemently angry over racism?

Women are actually correct (in a sense) when they claim that their public nudity is “for themselves” or that it’s “empowering.” They don’t engage in this behavior for men’s collective benefit. At its core, it’s a pretty obvious attempt to sieze unilateral control over social interactions between the sexes.
They want to inject your mind with sexual stimuli, and for you to learn that you can only react or form the next logical thought if they say so. There is no two-way street, being perceiving being; all perception and thought must be theirs; all agency, all happenings must flow from them alone. Men as agents must be extinguished, and sex / reproduction is the most viable route for women to accomplish this. It’s extremely logical, game theoretically speaking

I just don’t get why women are so dishonest. Like — just admit that you dress like that because you want people, especially men, to think that you’re hot. And by hot I mean sexually attractive. That’s why the shorts are short and tight and scrunch up around your butt to make your butt look bigger and rounder. Why? Because you think men like big round juicy butts. You wear low-cut tops because men find breasts attractive. Cut the bullshit that you do it just for you or that it’s more comfortable because you don’t and it’s not. Just freaking own it.
And if you are going to dress like that, don’t expect people not to look because that’s specifically why you chose the outfit you did. Furthermore, don’t get mad when people you don’t think are hot hit on you. You can’t have it both ways.
Aside from it being problematic for society and relationships between men and women, thing that frustrates me the most is the dishonesty in all of it. You know why you do it, we know why you do it. I am so tired of people expecting others not to be honest about things that are blatantly/obviously/objectively true.

I’m actually pretty pro-“being sexy in public” and think it’s completely fair for women to leverage their beauty to their advantage, but I don’t think you can pair that with a ban on reasonable male reactions to those choices (like looking at or approaching you). Women aren’t actually fighting for a sexually healthy society or for sexual liberation, because it’s always paired with an attempt at psychological control + discomfort with sexual realities

Time to start thinking if the woman you’re dating has post-apocalyptic medicine woman potential. Can she forage, make remedies with medicinal herbs and cook over an open fire?

It seems clear to me that the Great Replacement is a subcomponent of a broader phenomenon, the Great Abstraction: words on paper are more real than blood and flesh, abstract values are more real than sensory information, virtual objects are more real than physical matter. The endpoint is that the human body itself and the world we experience will be replaced with something else, something truly putrid & evil, unless we can gain clarity & reroot ourselves

I fully believe in our ability to redirect our trajectory towards the good. I think in some sense, our destiny was always to transcend ourselves. But we need to synthesize our past, the lessons of thousands of years of history, the truth of our flesh & blood, with our desire to master our future

Why do nihilists who talk about humans being specks of dust on a space rock in the cosmos always zoom out but never zoom in? Our bodies are universe-like structures for microorganisms, who are universes for particles. We are incredibly massive and significant
