Explainer videos are neither easy nor fast.
anyone who tells you "just have claude do it" it's trying to sell you something.
I think we're getting better at creating them fast, but there's very little GenAI in them, and letting claude do the animations unsupervised, produces extremely low quality stuff.

Kling is actually really good. I've used it quite a bit for generative video, and it's significantly cheaper than Seedance.
IMO, consistency/continuity is the biggest pet peeve of mine when using it, even when you give it references, but the lower cost makes iteration a lot more forgiving.

the unemployable founder
You know the people who can't hold a conventional job because they're disabled, or they are felons, or the illiterate founder who barely knows how to write but AI somehow understands the ideas and executes them.
I mean, Andrew, if I were in your position, I'd start by looking at the founders the fund has historically rejected for traits that were considered disqualifying in 2010 that might actually become competitive advantages now.

@Waggoner_ww @Spacecolonize @benhylak Which specific criticism have you talked about? you seem to spend a lot of time thinking how you want your argument received without actually making it.

@Waggoner_ww @Spacecolonize @benhylak Do it.
What exactly are you trying to win?
Just submit your thoughts to the marketplace of ideas and let the public judge their coherence.
You seem to want immunity from criticism tho. Sorry to break it to you, but nobody owes you applause.

@Waggoner_ww @Spacecolonize @benhylak The tears can be genuine, but recording them and publishing them is still a deliberate presentation of that emotion to an audience (aka a performance)

@benhylak @Spacecolonize I’d say because she took the time to record herself, edit it , write a description think of tags, etc… that’s very strong evidence of a performance.

@42XNaN @eliana_jordan No, yeah I know. But I’m highly skeptical of those numbers without seeing the actual channel and seeing the engaged viewers and not just the view count which is what people usually publish.

@eliana_jordan They can be easily done, but they look like everyone else’s. We put this one together and while it didn’t give us big results (yet) the result is better than those AI Slop explainer videos made by Claude

@CliffordF55 @ahmedgagan11 @itsmesidharths I use Posthog too but lately they’ve been doing a lot of things at a mediocre level. Their analytics side is still pretty good tho

I should reverse engineer this, patch it and some dude getting pinged that “hey this shit that wasn’t working it’s actually working now. What do I do with this”
Ok, I just checked this, and its literally running a freaking TensorFlow Lite model on 960×540 images with INT8 quantization every couple of seconds in an attempt to figure out what game you are playing.
It's literally called "alex.tflite" and its literally AlexNet and seems to ls.alexnet. As far as I can tell this does some strange nearest neighbor feature comparisons against a DB and literally doesn't work 99% of the time, you love to see your CPU get wasted every other second by this thing though. It also just seems to dump its results into the void because the consent gate comes later.
Anyways, here's the tf model graph and some dumped captures.

@LibOrNormal He’s been extremely open about this. As a matter of fact is kind of a meme every time he brings up his drug running activities in South America.
