It is amazing.
Sometimes people at the VERY TOP of comedy (Seinfeld wether you like or not has made $100M in comedy) genuinely appreciate someone who is at the very bottom of comedy (Adam is a talk show host who could not survive on comedy as his profession if he wanted to).
people who do the doing often relate to others who do the doing even if those others are not particularly good at it ( I am not saying Adam is a bad talk show host, just bad comedian).
Also Adam's style is the same semantic style as Seinfeld. You could write a Seinfeld routine using that material and it would be a natural fit.

America needs this kind of nation state pragmatism.
This is the China strategy.
You may be 1-2 generations behind on tech. You may have poor yields and high prices. You may lack the best equipment and materials.
But you just go for it anyway.

Today, I announced the FCC will vote to authorize prisons to jam contraband cellphones for the first time ever.
Almost 500,000 inmates now have access to them and 25,000 phones are seized in jails annually.
Inmates are using them at exceptionally s, run drug operations, enable CSAM abuse of young kids, and many more awful acts.
We are now giving state and local prisons & jails a tool they’ve been denied for years.
Grateful for the chance to get this across the finish line.

We are living multiple singularities at the moment
AI is an intelligence singularity first in providing all the information to humans and gradually by doing more and more of the thinking so that AI can scale intelligence to infinity.
We are in the midst of an energy singularity with solar costs coming down and being limited primarily by energy cost.
We are in the midst of a worker singularity with Robots replacing humans and scaling independent of Earth so that billions of robots could work on the moon and treat it like a 3D structure not a 2D structure and have the surface covered in solar.
We are approaching a periodic table singularity where we can mine and sort elements and build from nearly unlimited raw materials.
All of these increase what is possible in a given hour or year or decade.
But we are also nearing a age reversing singularity where we can essentially end death so that everyone will have access to more and more decades of life.
And eventually we will approach a physics singularity where we can travel to other solar systems and spread throughout the galaxy.
Now is an exceptionally bad time to have WW3

I am starting to see the blind spot that NASA likely has.
Certain things are stupid.
NASA is smart.
So using cooking as an example:
Salt is bad for your heart all of their recipes would not have salt.
Imagine all the things you CANNOT make work without salt when it comes to cooking. But salt is heart stupid.
Good system engineering often does something VERY stupid and then EVERY other part pulls in the opposite direction and the "stupid" can mostly be eliminated.
Elon used a "stupid" fuel in terms of lower ISP and then made his rocket so cheap that his economics beat the 99% perfection shuttle motors that are in SLS. The SLS engines are near perfection in a smart sense but the "stupid" Falcon 9 fuels beat them.
The mantra "simplify and add lightness" was the first SpaceX genius and they were better even before reuse.
I just learned about a stupid thing.
A stupid thing that makes everything EASY.
The search in system engineering needs NEEDS you to look deeply into stupid things. Current stupid things, obsolete stupid things, stupid things that have basically never been done because they are SOOOOO stupid etc.
