Congratulations (unofficial) shipaton winners!
🥂 Grand Prize
• Keepsweeper @flarup
Amazing combination of minesweeper and an RTS. Great art style, bro is doing serious revenue as well. To me, the most likely to do well long term. An iconic app.
• Offload AI @SidneySadel re. You upload your item into the app and it lists everywhere: ebay, FB, etc. With AI features, it's a really good idea, and well positioned to do super good long term. Think content scheduling for hussle bros.
🧱 Build in Public / 01:15
• Envisioned @letannacook
By far the best journey that was shared. Anna deserves this spot more than anyone else. Consistently showing up, and having never built an app before I think, got to 1k revenue. Seriously impressive discipline. Big congrats.
• Amble @jaydwivedi_ & @heysatya_
The design bros, amazing app: step counter with friends. Great idea, amazing excecution, continues to share the journey with all of us. Thank you bros.
🗣️ Conflict of Interest / 02:18
• Tracer @rkotzy
Easily the most interesting technical app on this list. See network requests from any app! See what MMP an app is using, what analytics provider they use (posthog, etc). Really solid idea, and bro made $500 as well.
• Idle Dev Tycoon @HHaandr
Biased bc I'm featured in the app. A lil game where you've gotta ship apps, pixelart style, super cool, super interactive and great monetisation strategy.
🎨 Design / 03:24
• Clucky @adrianabelarde & @heysatya_
Of course this list would be wrong if it didn't include Clucky. Featured on tech crunch, the design is s-tier. Bros absolutely huge W. Well deserved top spot.
• Riser - by James
Really cool design and take on the alarm clock niche. Build your own little island in the sky and do challenges to stop your alarm.
• Zerotake @novikoff & Sergio
A beautiful cinema camera app. Clearly made with love and care. Excellent s tier design skills. Really good premium feeling app.
🕹️ Gaming / 04:45
• Kings Gambit @alexcooldev
Not even sure if bro submitted, but he wins top spot. 3D chess, it's in browser and i played it for a good hour. Insane design skills but the interactivity was amazing, legitimately fun game.
• Digicity by Andrew
Super well done app, great design too. An isometric city builder. Clearly put a lot of love into this. Good gameplay loops, super solid stuff.
• Nitelore by Neil
Racing game, nice design again, neon lights, fast cars, whats more to love? Really nicely done project. Big W from bro.
I've likely missed a load of amazing apps.
Let me know what I'm missing!

Last week was RevenueCat's New York App Week, an annual event where founders come together in New York to meet each other, continue to grow their apps, celebrate the awards of our annual app competition, demo their apps on Times Square, and more 🗽
I'm part of an incredible team everything from:
- The Shippies Award Show
- App Growth Annual Conference, with over 5k attendees (in person + virtual)
- Times Square Demo Day, where we supported real indie developers showcasing their apps to passerby
RevenueCat continues to be the best advocate for indie devs, and it's awesome to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone on my team who made this week so great! 🏴☠️

I've just updated our guidance for using RevenueCat paywalls with iPhone Duo!
Follow the steps here (or tell your agent to do so!) to make sure your paywall feels great, with the rest of your app, on iPhone Duo

RevenueCat is hiring👀👀👀👀
@RevenueCat is famously hard to get into
We’ve just opened our first (and only) truly entry-level role
And I suspect some of the best people for it won’t think to apply
It’s called Product Expert
Before anyone gets too excited about the “entry-level” bit: You still need to be ’t need is to have spent the last 10 years becoming world-class at one very specific thing
For this role, we’re looking for a broader set of skills:
👉 You’re amazing in a conversation with a founder, app growth professional or developer
You can figure out what they’re trying to do, ask good questions, and actually help them move forward
👉 You know RevenueCat well enough to answer questions and give a useful demo
Maybe you learned it at work, maybe you built your own app, maybe you entered Shipaton
We care that you know your stuff, not where you learned it
👉 You have commercial common sense
You can handle the straightforward commercial questions yourself, and recognize when it’s time to pull in an Account Executive
👉 You have technical common sense
Same thing: You can help with the basics, and know when a conversation needs a Solutions Engineer
You don’t have to be the person who can close the biggest deal AND architect the most complicated migration
You do need to be the person who makes the first conversation genuinely useful
(And who makes sure the next conversation actually happens)
Already world-class at one of those things? Great! You’re very welcome to apply too
We’re just opening this up to people who haven’t picked their specialization yet
You’ll get to work with, and learn from, some genuinely amazing people
Travel to industry events and meet RevenueCat users in person
And build a foundation that could take you towards being an AE, an SE, a CSM, or wherever your strengths end up taking you
For now, we’re hiring at least one person in the Americas and one in EMEA
If you’ve ever looked at our jobs and thought “I’d LOVE to work there, but I’m not a senior specialist in any of these things”, this could be your foot in the door
And if someone immediately came to mind while reading this: Tag them
Especially if they’re the kind of person who’s brilliant at a bunch of things, but would never search for a job called “Product Expert”

Thank you to everyone who came out for the @RevenueCat App Growth Annual this year.
We were way oversubscribed and couldn’t get everyone in. Sorry. We way underestimated demand.
We’re planning a big capacity upgrade for next year and hope we’ll see you all there.

Let us know what to improve for next year!
That’s a wrap on App Week
If you were in NYC this week, I’d love to hear what you’d want to see (changed, improved, removed) next year, and any other feedback you might have
It’s honestly a little wild to see how much it’s grown since we pretty randomly made this up last year, been a good one for the community
Would love to hear how we can make it even better
