Why would the toppling of Ukraine and Zelensky be a “best” case?

Look i don’t think you’re on Russias side or anything. But yesterday you attacked Zelensky for “mishandling” Trump. And the biggest enemy in the US politically speaking for Ukraine, are the Megan mobbs types who want us to believe that one more time on their knees in front of Trump is all Ukraine needs.

Meanwhile those of us who have actually fought with Trump know that he only responds to strength. Not begging

US energy company execs have resigned in disgust as the Trump family is caught secretly expediting the funneling of $25 billion from a sanctioned Russian energy giant in exchange for allowing Russians to obtain a natural gas project in Alaska.

According to investigations by The New York Times and Financial Times, Russia's Novatek allegedly concealed its financial involvement in the American project through a UAE-linked intermediary.

Gentry Beach, a longtime Trump ally and close friend of Donald Trump Jr., signed an agreement with Novatek to pursue natural gas development in Alaska. Reuters documented the arrangement in February.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin discussed this cooperation on the Alaska energy project with Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during negotiations involving Russia and Ukraine.

The controversy deepened when Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, raised concerns about concealed Russian financing and possible sanctions violations. He departed in September, followed by other senior executives.

The Financial Times also described discussions about a potential arrangement under which Novatek would provide technology for the Alaska project in exchange for sanctions relief benefiting its Arctic LNG 2 development in Siberia.

According to The New York Times, Riddle and two other departing executives warned the Trump administration about the Russian financing and urged officials to investigate.

The White House maintains that the project was mentioned only briefly and that no detailed discussions took place. There is no established evidence that Kushner or Witkoff knew about the allegedly concealed financing. Polar Train LNG denies wrongdoing.

The central question is how a sanctioned Russian energy company became involved in a major American energy venture while Putin was discussing potential economic cooperation with Trump's representatives and a longtime Trump family associate was pursuing a separate agreement with the same Russian company.

Selling Alaska to the Russians or selling Ukraine to the Russians - to the Trump family it's all the same.

Russian tanks made it to Kyiv’s suburbs in 2022. Russian airborne troops temporarily took the Kyiv Airport until they were killed or captured. Putin wants all of Ukraine.

These guys will be back on the front in no time. Russia is reportedly losing around 2,000 troops a day, killed, injured, captured or missing, and struggling to sustain its imperial invasion, having still failed to take all of Donbas in the last 12 years.

- Oleshky is occupied UKR territory where Russia DELIBERATELY ‼️created this humanitarian catastrophe.

- Approx 2,000 residents remain w/t adequate city, heating or running water. The roads are mined and 90% of Oleshky was flooded after Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Dam.

- Melania Trump DID NOT single-handedly “secure a ceasefire.”
This was a lengthy process involving UKR officials, @Pontifex and many others.

- More importantly ‼️Russia, as the occupying power, already has a LEGAL OBLIGATION to protect civilians and provide essential supplies while doing precisely the opposite

Yet @CNN and others’ headlines turn Russia’s grudging agreement to comply temporarily with its most basic humanitarian obligations into a Trump-family diplomatic triumph.

🚨 WAIT A MINUTE: Melania Trump is now being credited with brokering a ceasefire in Ukraine by the White House—just one week after Pope Leo personally called Vladimir Putin to push for the SAME THING.

On October 16, Reuters reported that Pope Leo had called Putin to request a n-occupied Ukrainian town of Oleshky to allow desperately needed humanitarian aid and food to reach civilians.

The Kremlin confirmed Putin had agreed to cooperate. The Vatican made clear the initiative came from the Pope himself.

Fast-forward to today.

The White House is now announcing that Melania Trump brokered a ceasefire in Oleshky, claiming SHE initiated discussions with Russian and Ukrainian leadership.

The Associated Press is reporting the White House's account without mentioning the Pope's earlier intervention.

So why is the White House taking credit for an initiative Pope Leo was publicly pursuing a week ago?

As expected, the "Melania Trump saved the people of Oleshky" was just another Trump con job.

The Pope did this, then the White House put out a press release claiming it was them.

Restricting Ukraine's access to Starshield hands Russia an advantage. I'm working with Republicans and Democrats to demand the Administration fix this and keep it from happening again. Decisions this consequential shouldn't be left to the whims of a private company.
