Even during our civil war we held a Presidential and two congressional elections. Also during the War of 1812 ( I’m surprised you didn’t learn this ). Yet you continue to post daily in support of one country that is not a current ally or democracy like they are. President Eisenhower warned about people like you tied into the military industrial complex for making money from promoting continuous war.

I think it's not productive to delay peace by pretending the stakes are greater than they were.
