One of the biggest reasons I continue to vote democratic is besides thinking government can and should help people, is that the republican party is full of moral degenerates who clothe themselves in righteousness.
Yoooo the depths of Republican Party corruption can't even be learned for another decade.
Everywhere they have full power they're the most corrupt people ever

@DavidGiglioCA Go through the ratings. If Dems sweep the toss ups dems only net 20 seats.
Thats a historic underperformance.
You shitheads were wrong.

One reason young people want socialism so much is that they're jealous that older people have it and they don't.

Vivek Ramaswamy just now on the ad with Acton’s estranged mother:
“We ran an ad about lying. Amy Acton is lying. … It had nothing to do with childhood abuse, which I will be the number one governor to prosecute when I am the governor of this state because it is wrong.”

The idea that dems have abandoned trans people is a truism in leftist spaces similar to the claim that the party has ratcheted to the right in recent decades.
Zero basis for either claim, AMPLE evidence to the contrary, but both are repeated so often that they’re not questioned.

Trans voter to @AOC: Trans people in America feel like they've been abandoned by the Democratic Party, that we are a losing issue, that it's not worth defending us. What do you say to that?

Who are you kidding? @JDVance is never living in Ohio again. He’s buying a home in Middleburg, Virginia. He vacations in The Cotswolds. You think he has any interest in Ohio? He’s done used them up.
If I'm JD Vance and Acton wins? I don't think I run for president in 2028. I move back home "to let my kids have a normal childhood," run against Acton in 2030 (possibly during a Democratic midterm) and then run for president in 2036.

This infuriates me. I and most democrats are proud pro trans allies—in a time where it would be easy to not be. We do it anyway because it’s the right thing to do. To have my support and allyship be billed as “abandonment” is a slap in the face honestly.

In January 2025 my mom’s lung cancer spread to her brain. The drug with the best chance of helping her was approved in China but not here.
A doctor told me, almost as an aside, that if she were Chinese she could buy it at a pharmacy.
So I flew to Shanghai and came home with 26 boxes in my luggage. That was 19 months ago. My mom is still here, still working, and in her words has had an amazing three years.
The drug was approved in China in 2023. The FDA approved it in July 2025. It still is not for sale here. I know of at least 30 Americans who have made the same trip.
I have been scared to tell this story because I worried it could cost my mom access to the medicine keeping her alive. But the problem matters more than my silence. These drugs need to be developed and available here, and that means FDA reform.
Art Allen at KFF Health News told our story this week. It also ran in The Washington Post.

Like hopefully you're forming healthy attachments to the imperfect people in your life, ideally, and not constantly reevaluating their worth
The most sinister part of this isn’t that it’s untrue, of course you can’t infinitely do better
It’s that it presumes “doing better” is the point of marriage, that the goal of a relationship is to trade up. Deeply sociopathic advice being sold as empowering

Not for nothing, but Twitter is not ohio. I would bet money that it's still pretty fresh there
This Lindsey Graham "documentary" managed to erase all the rightful outrage over the Amy Acton ad from my timeline.
Nice work, leftist grifters. Hope the clicks and fawning from your choir are worth it.

There is a literal coup against President Trump being plotted as we speak.
1,600+ former USAID employees, military, state dept diplomats, & foreign policy officials are planning violence for after the midterms.
If Democrats win the House & Senate, the plot will be activated.
DSA “foot soldiers” will take to the streets, instigating violence clashes with Trump law enforcement agents.
They intend their violence to provoke Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act.
If Trump invokes that law, the thugs plan to seize power from the federal govt in a “doomsday scenario” deletimizing the federal govt and giving power to Democrat governors in blue states.
Then they plan to impose their “structural reforms” on the country. A “refounding” they call it. They mean impose communism on you.
They also plan for a “breakthrough” to happen to take Trump out between now and Jan 3.
This plot appears to be the brainchild of color revolution experts like Erica Chenoweth, and others who worked at USAID.
Honestly it BLOWS MY MIND that some people are gonna sit out the midterms. Not vote. Are you crazy?
Literal communists who hate you and want to kill you are plotting to overthrow our govt, steal your vote and topple the president you elected.
Who, by the way, is THE ONLY PRESIDENT IN HISTORY who has successfully obliterated USAID, the institution that produces these color revolutions aimed at YOU.
I get it, gas prices are too high. For sure.
But are you out of your mind to throw away your midterm vote when the choice is between USAID thugs who are trying to stage a violent coup and topple our country and President Trump who DOGE’d USAID and cut off the funding that went from USAID to the NGOs that pay for the left wing color revolutions aimed at you???
I truly don’t get how anyone could skip voting in the midterms.
I’d crawl over broken glass to give Trump’s agenda to dismantle the deep state two more years.
And, you know, save our country and civilization from the violent death of communism.
Just think, you wouldn’t even know about this coup plot if not for @DataRepublican. You might have skipped your vote, handed Congress to the Democrats and suddenly faced… revolutionary communist violence.

Nice to know with 13 days left they are going with "we are the most awful people imaginable. Hell is literally going to split open to take us when we die vote for us please"
Vance’s response to the ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother: “Politics is a tough business, and my message to my fellow elected Republicans is: if you actually believe in the things you say you believe in, stop whining about an advertisement and go win the race in 13 days."
