Nah.
You understand that the attack ad affirmatively took the side of an indicted sexual abuser, who fled the charges rather than face them, and you observe that Vivek is standing by the "really bad attack ad," making it a character flaw, not a mistake.
So you don't.

I hear Vivek screwed up pretty badly in his campaign with a really bad attack ad. That wasn't cool.
Ok, see, that's easy to say. Now you look at the situation objectively and realize it's him as a Republican against a Covid-maniac Democrat, and you vote for him.

Years ago @BenSasse rode in my car across the Hill. I had no kids, car was medium-messy. I was embarassed. He reassured: I know you don't have kids if you say *this* is a messy car.

Don’t be distracted. This just shows he is on the admin’s script: keep blathering about Starlink and “terms of use/service,” don’t engage on Starshield, which is the issue and which — as Musk himself says — the Trump administration controls. nationalreview.com/corner/the-ter…
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

And then I (stupidly) take a look at Bluesky and those people are just hyperpartisan bonkers.
Everything's relative!

This should be one of the biggest stories of the moment. When a court blocks the Trump admin from deporting migrants to dangerous home countries, the government is sending them to 3rd countries with zero ties—who then send them straight to where they were fleeing. Lawless.
Within five days of being deported from the U.S., Moussa Diawara says Ghanaian officials forced him onto a flight to Mali, the very country a U.S. immigration judge ruled he could not be deported to. Diawara says he was homeless and went into hiding.

His uncle did do important work on radar deployment in WWII. But the claim he invented radar is ridiculous. Guarantee the inevitable community note will say so.
Trump: "My uncle invented radar! Can you believe it?"Community noteDonald Trump's uncle did not invent radar. The "first practical radar system" was patented by Sir Robert Watson-Watt, who built on the work of others such as Heinrich Hertz and Christian Huelsmeyer.

I think it's weird how few people are troubled by the gist of Sayed's Islamophobia defense. If you say that asking about support for the Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamophobic attack on your religion, then at some level you're suggesting -- or at least encouraging the inference -- that the MB's form of Islam defines or informs your interpretation of Islam. There are lots of Muslims that don't subscribe to the MB version and when you ask them about the Muslim Brotherhood, they don't respond by saying "how dare you attack my religion?"
