Following the crime of His Majesty’s plan to the country regarding the Atlantic slave trade, I hereby present an open letter.

Open Letter to His Majesty King Charles III

Your Majesty,

If the Crown is prepared to acknowledge a historical case for reparations arising from the Atlantic slave trade, then consistency demands that the same principle be applied to the centuries-long dispossession of the British people themselves.

The monarchy and the aristocratic order that surrounds it rest on successive acts of conquest, feudal seizure, and the systematic enclosure of common land. From the Norman redistribution of English estates after 1066, through the later extinguishing of customary rights, to the parliamentary enclosures that transferred vast areas of once-common land into private hands, the ordinary people of these islands were repeatedly separated from the soil they had worked and the resources they had shared. The resulting concentration of land and privilege is not an ancient curiosity; it is the material foundation of the very institutions that continue to enjoy hereditary wealth and status today.
If the wrongs of the past are to be quantified and compensated in one case, the same logic applies to another. The descendants of those who lost access to common land, who were driven from customary holdings, or who paid rent and taxes to sustain an order built on that dispossession have at least as strong a claim as any other group now invited to seek historical redress. To recognise one chain of historical responsibility while exempting the institutions that most directly benefited from the seizure of British land is selective, not principled.
The logical next step is therefore clear. An honest application of the reparations principle requires the abolition of the monarchy and of hereditary aristocratic privilege, together with a settlement that returns or compensates the British people for the long-term loss of their common inheritance. Anything less treats historical injustice as a political instrument rather than a consistent standard.

The British people did not consent to the permanent alienation of their land. They should not now be asked to underwrite selective moral accounting that leaves the principal beneficiaries untouched.
Respectfully,
A British Citizen

This is what we are up against. Two tier justice, two tier police and two tier politicians.
For those that haven't been following the Tommy Robinson story... it's INSANE he was convicted of anything.

Back in August 2024 Tommy is on a family holiday in Cyprus posting about the riots, and the Daily Mail decides this is so important it sends a reporter and a photographer nd to find him, and according to Tommy they even took a photograph of his ex-wife, and then the story goes up and, as he told the jury, within hours people online were posting the name of the hotel he was staying at and telling others to head there, with his kids right there, so his family had to move to a different part of the hotel after he spoke to security, and he ended up leaving the hotel altogether...

...and so what does Tommy do?

He does the exact same thing back to them.

He finds out who wrote it, he hires investigators to locate them, he goes public with it and accuses one of the journalists of “doxxing my children’s location”, he rings one of them up and basically asks whether it would be OK if he did to them what they had done to him, which is literally the whole point, he’s holding up a mirror, and he told the court all he wanted was to question them on camera, the way reporters door-step people every single day, and that it was an attempt to bring the Daily Mail to the table, and even the prosecutor admitted none of it contained direct threats of violence, and yet the people who flew to another country to find him at his hotel are pretending they are the victims, and the man who found where they live and asked them how it feels is the criminal, and the jury couldn’t even agree, it was 10 to 2, and he’s going to be sentenced on December 16 for doing to the Daily Mail exactly what the Daily Mail did to him first, and we’re all supposed to just nod along like this makes perfect sense!!!!!!!

It's PURE INSANITY!!!!!!!

Who wants to put bets on this bullshit figure being added to Labours defence budget figures? @realDonaldTrump I would get your staff looking into this blatant book cooking exercise if I were you. No doubt they will try to spin this into their 3% GDP defence figures.

If you ever needed to see how corrupt our judiciary is in the UK, today was the day. Tommy Robinson had his legal fees paid by the richest man on the planet and they still stitched him up. Let that sink in.

Great vibes to this, is that Tupac rapping?
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. got the nickname Snoop because his mom thought he looked like Snoopy from Peanuts—and she never called him anything else. Decades later, the Doggfather is still the chillest voice in the game, going from Long Beach streets to stadiums with Dre and al high-paying bar mitzvah). Some legends just keep it real, one drawled bar at a time. 🎤🌿💨

From behind the pay wall,

I guess Norway and Finland don't want to freeze to death if Putin decides to turn off the gas this winter because Von Der Leyen and friends want to keep this ludicrous slaughter going.

The leaders of Norway and Finland held a 'frank and substantive' phone conversation with Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, sparking criticism from fellow Nordic leaders.

The 90-minute conversation marked the first call between pro-Ukrainian European leaders and the Russian president in more than a year.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen criticised the call, saying it 'was not coordinated with the rest of us'.

She stressed the importance of European unity, adding 'we should be very careful about giving Putin an opportunity that he did not have until a few hours ago'.

Meanwhile, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, speaking from an event in Helsinki, said he had been given no advance notice and held low expectations from the call.

He emphasised that his country's position remained that peace had to be reached on Ukraine’s terms.

Defending the outreach to the Kremlin chief, Finland's president Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said in a joint statement that 'ending the war requires direct discussions'.

'We stressed the importance of de-escalation,' Store said. 'There are big differences in views,' he told Norwegian media in Helsinki, where he is taking part in a meeting of Nordic leaders.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen criticised the call, saying it 'was not coordinated with the rest of us'

Store stressed that he and Finland's President Alexander Stubb had only spoken with Putin on behalf of their own countries.

The call was 'frank and substantive', Stubb said, explaining that the war's outcome will 'have a direct impact on our and the broader European security'.

The call marked the first direct exchange between Putin and Ukraine's main European allies since French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with him in July 2025.

Putin used the opportunity to slam the West, the Kremlin said.

'Attention was drawn to the confrontational policy of the EU and Nato countries, which is leading to a protraction of hostilities', the Kremlin said in a readout.

But Moscow said the three had 'agreed to continue maintaining direct contact by phone'.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who spoke with the two Nordic leaders after their call with Putin, said on social media that they had 'made it clear to the Russian leader that real de-escalatory steps are needed regarding our energy and infrastructure'.

The call came as a local truce aimed at allowing humanitarian aid into the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky - dubbed by a Ukrainian negotiator the 'biggest de-escalation since 2022' - appeared to be tentatively holding, hours after Russia fired missiles on a university campus and a key bridge in Kyiv.

The ceasefire in Oleshky brokered by US First Lady Melania Trump had begun at 3am local time and was in effect through the morning.

Ukrainian negotiator David Arakhamia said it would last until 10.59pm on November 1.

The war-ravaged city in Ukraine's southern Kherson region has been caught in the middle of the fighting since 2022, when it was seized by Russian forces at the start of their invasion.

The population has since dropped from about 24,000 to around 2,000 today.

Former residents said earlier this year that those remaining in the city were starving, lacked medicine and could not easily leave.

'They've forgotten what bread is,' Olga, who was in touch with two families still in Oleshky, said late last month.

A spokesman for Ukraine's Marine Corps, Pavlo Drogal, told reporters that 'the enemy is observing the ceasefire' as of 9am local time.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said there had been no reports of violations.

But elsewhere, Russia continued to pummel the rest of Ukraine with air barrages.

Ballistic missiles struck a university campus in Kyiv on Monday evening. Another overnight strike hit the capital's Southern Bridge - a major road-and-rail artery crossing the Dnipro river.

Images posted on social media showed a gaping hole in between subway tracks and a mess of twisted metal.

In Russia, two people were killed 'as a result of explosive devices being dropped' on the western city of Bryansk, the regional governor said.

Russian state television on Tuesday aired reports purporting to show several people leaving Oleshky on bikes, without saying when the images were filmed.

Vladimir Saldo, a Moscow-installed official in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, told Russian media that those wishing to evacuate could go to Russian-occupied Crimea or Rostov in southwestern Russia, but would need to wait until the heavily-mined road from the city had been cleared.

The Ukrainian military has released drone footage of the town showing rows of empty apartment blocks, some charred by fire or partially destroyed by fighting.

Other videos have shown Ukrainian authorities using drones to dispatch medicine and food to remaining residents.

The Russian military does not routinely grant international media access to areas under Russian occupation, including Oleshky.

Hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians have been killed and millions forced to flee their homes since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, a conflict that has spiralled into Europe's deadliest since World War II.

US-mediated talks between Russia and Ukraine are set to resume in November, having been effectively frozen since the United States and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran in February.
