Every paper that I write and every talk that I give on #Dysautonomia includes the inflammatory reflex that the brilliant @KevinJTraceyMD described, followed by his groundbreaking work on implantable vagus nerve stimulator as treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. We need these trials for other disorders: #Sjogrens, #lupus, #vasculitis, severe #POTS, #MECFS and #LongCOVID.
1 minute of vagus nerve stimulation per day was recently FDA approved as a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. A new Ground Truths podcast with @KevinJTraceyMD who pioneered this field
