Everyone is going to find their way back to pure Socratic method with pen and paper notes, and law professors who've been there all along are going to be insufferably smug.
I guest lectured in two friends' course at Stanford last week, and my same material took 50% longer to cover than the prior year because they implemented a no tech in class rule, which lead to a big jump in student engagement and questions.
Higher standards = More learning.

If Pangram truly is as perfect as its academic defenders say it is, faculty could go back to offering out-of-class assignments, papers and take-home exams. But would you feel comfortable failing a student based on an AI's probabilistic judgment?
