The obsession with TUI and CLI has got to stop
Not only because they are they inferior UI/UX
The main purpose is to Gatekeep hot new tech from people who don’t feel comfortable in a terminal
So cringe

Should something like this be Open Source and sovereign, or should it be owned by one company?
Being a system of record for agents means safely giving agents, of any provenance, a place to collaborate that is inspectable and backwards compatible for humans. Today at @NotionHQ we launched the first software of it's kind to unlock that at scale. Explained more with information this AM.

I don’t see how these options are mutually exclusive?
Of course, use agentic search.
But, one would imagine that a semantic search tool that queries a local vector db would result in better exploration than clumsily grepping the codebase for related strings

@EthanLipnik 👋 Early versions of Claude Code used RAG + a local vector db, but we found pretty quickly that agentic search generally works better. It is also simpler and doesn’t have the same issues around security, privacy, staleness, and reliability.

"secure by default"
> Sends all your personal data to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google

You should buy a Mac Mini
Unless you are EXTREMELY technical I highly recommend AGAINST running ClawdBot on a VPS
Despite what all the angry nerds will tell you, Mac Mini is the way
When you run Clawd on a Mac Mini, you are secure by default. You have to do stupid things to get hacked
When you run Clawd on a VPS, you are exposed by default, and have to do incredibly smart things to become secure
On a VPS all your keys, credentials, and access to your life are by default exposed unless you introduce strong security methods that are too technical for the average person to understand
On a Mac Mini, your Clawd is by default contained on the device. Unless you expose the Clawd to the world via email, group chats, or other ways you will for the most part (with exceptions, there are no absolutes here) be safer.
The Mac Mini (or any local device, old laptop, windows or linux computer) is 1000x better for the average person.
You're getting a full time, more secure employee for $600. Incredible deal

Ah, brilliant! Any bugs in @seedhypermedia are left intentionally by the human engs, just to check when the agents will be smart enough to find the solutions on their own.
