By waiting until Oct. 24 to hold the B.C. election, NDP Leader David Eby saved several of his party’s MLAs from losing their pensions.

Totally agree!
White supremacy has no place in B.C. Condemn it, confront it and hold those spreading hate accountable. Silence is not an option. 😡

Congratulations! You rock!
Once again, I have proven to my constituents that I am the one to represent them! I got one of the highest vote shares. When I started off in 2013, my riding was a battleground riding. Through my media personality, I am well-known throughout the community and clearly in my own Starrett @chadpederson

Stop playing politics! You called on all “elected” MLAs to speak out. You know what you are doing! How about all the people of British Columbia that find this abhorrent speak with a united voice! This is unacceptable! We are better and stronger when we stand united together.
Hate has no place in BC. Calling on ALL elected MLAs to speak out. PLEASE!!!!

Sounds simple but it isn’t.
I can see lawyers/consultants lining up to represent the 600 plus bands in Canada for years to come.
We already have a process in BC to achieve this called BC Treaty negotiations. Check out how long that has taken as an example
Wab Kinew calls on Ottawa to abolish Indian Act: "I'm not sure if that lines up with your vision of Canada, that we still have a race-based form of identification in this country. It's long overdue that we have a relationship with Indigenous peoples in Canada that reflects who we "

Doerkson to the doubters: "I am leader."

Day one, he orders an independent review of the NDP's books. "If there is a billion-dollar error in our books, I am terrified to think what else might be there."

9 years of the BC NDP 😱 We have suffered and sacrificed under their tyranny. They took our Hospice from us ($8 million of our assets) because we refused to kill our patients with MAiD. We stood to defend authentic Palliative Care and we have survived 😢 Tonight we have HOPE! nservative government will allow us to build a Sanctuary Hospice - to honour and affirm our patients lives and care for them until their natural end. ♥️

The new @Conservative_BC govt will bring in the Respect Local Democracy Act so no premier can again call a concurrent provincial election. @LDoerkson said he hasn't decided if they will hold a fall session, but first priority will be to raise the personal tax exemption to 32K, which will amount to about $1000/yr back.

HAPPENING NOW: There's a bigger lesson from the Doerkson story that transcends politics. The magical superpowers that come along with being kind and nice.

Thank you for your kind words. We have a great team.
Dianne Watts is an absolute powerhouse. Her leadership transformed Surrey, and her endorsement was a massive turning point for the Conservative movement in BC. Huge credit to her for stepping up and helping bring common sense back to our province! #bcpoli
