It's a PPP also apart from that. Purple line is 17.4 km, aqua is 15.4 and the new pink line is 23.2. so apart from a higher cost because of the ppp model, the other extra max cost comes from the length.
Pune commuters will face a big gap in metro ticket prices. While the existing Maha Metro lines, PCMC to Swargate and Vanaz to Ramwadi, charge a maximum of ₹35, the Maan-Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar Metro Line 3 will charge up to ₹62. The line, about 23.2 km long, is set to be November 3, and PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari shared the fares at a press conference on Saturday, October 31.
Metro Line 3 fares:
0-2 km: ₹12
2-4 km: ₹25
4-8 km: ₹37
8-12 km: ₹43
12-18 km: ₹49
Above 18 km: ₹62
The minimum fare is ₹12 against ₹10 on Maha Metro, and the maximum is ₹27 higher. This will hit the pockets of IT professionals and regular commuters travelling to Hinjewadi IT Park.
Line 3 is a public-private partnership (PPP) project run by a private company, and its agreement allows fares to be set according to the inflation index. Dr. Chaudhari said fares in other cities’ metros are set the same way and are close to Line 3’s rates.

I just want to make one small point. 13.3 crore voters were deleted. That is one in every seven Indians. 15% of India's voters were deleted. In the last Lok Sabha election, these voters supposedly voted. The difference between the opposition and those who won the election was a 3% vote margin. So, the election was won by a 3% vote, and now the Election Commission itself is saying that 15% of those voters should never have voted. Which means that the Election Commission itself is stating that the 2024 Lok Sabha election is an illegal election, and the people who entered the Lok Sabha, the BJP people who entered the Lok Sabha, did so illegally..."
