Every technological age got the institutions it deserved: the printing press got the nation-state, the factory got the bureaucracy. Superintelligence will get one too. The only question is whether builders design it, or inherit someone else's. Praxis is choosing to design.

Praxis. Exactly! The founder builds a system that lives and evolves indefinitely—powered by culture and collective-action AI. A system that endures without him.

The next robotics revolution might arrive waddling!

Jensen Huang's MicroDuck shows how robots can master movements in NVIDIA's simulation before trying them in the real world.

Small, affordable robots could put Physical AI experimentation within reach of many more developers.

This is how I always see this behavior. It's turned into warring religions, it seems like people are creating cults out of everything.

@ChromeBarracudat with my words I scratch the hearts of European patriots. But still, it’s time to cut off the gangrene and move on with life. All who consider themselves healthy citizens of Western civilization, and if we speak in fact, of white civilization, then you must make a great migration across the ocean to South America, the Southern Cone and complete A 16th-century scenario to correct the course of history And bury Europe. After that, spend all your time building a new Western civilization, separated by oceans like an iron curtain from Mordor The new goal is to prepare an exodus to Mars and the outer rim. Anyone who does not understand this and clings to the cage of the old, defeated past is doomed to disappear from the genetic book of the living.

True, friend, true. But I believe we must resolve the issue of terminology. We must replace the term "state" with something else. Because it conceptually takes us away from our goal and becomes a trap..

20 years ago you might find a date online. now: materialize IRL cities from close-knit digital networks

network states are here and will be very big. if you don't see it yet, i hope you will soon anon

Exactly... It’s chilling when such an important industry is in the hands of panic-stricken people who have descended into hysteria.

"By focusing the discussion on digital sentience and global catastrophe, AI leaders are turning an already complex regulatory debate into an impossible moral panic" — they’re acting like frightened teenagers... Responsibility and infantilism are incompatible. The threat isn’t AI; the threat lies in leaders who are unable to get a grip on themselves.

You don't need to wait for the future to start belonging to it. Sometimes, the future begins with someone who dares to envision it differently.

It's totally obvious that the money of the future will be digital, scarce, and private.

But, interestingly, crypto still hasn't birthed a real new currency.

Robo-Zones, clusters of industrial production / compute, will be located where energy and land are cheapest, assuming the geopolitics work. Necessarily, these areas will be maximally undesirable places to live, or else the land would be more expensive. If a place is successful as a Robo-Zone, this is a strong signal that it will fail as a human city in the superintelligence age, and vice-versa

Proud to share new work from our Paradigms of Intelligence team toward AI designed for decentralized hardware, where low-power communication and fault tolerance are critical requirements. Using Neural Cellular Automata (NCA), @mayalen_etc and her co-authors show that spatial locality is not a barrier to complex multi-step reasoning.

Can complex multi-step reasoning emerge purely from cells that only talk to immediate neighbors?

Happy to share our paper “Reasoning with Neural Cellular Automata (NCA)”, from our team at Google, Paradigms of Intelligence 🧵👇

These landers — Starship and Blue Moon — have concepts of operations different from one another. More below ⬇️

I've long argued that there are architectural limitations to achieving AGI. AI is being created by former neurobiologists, and yet, AI lacks the basic components necessary for evolution. They simply They don't give it to us intentionally. It's possible they give it to closed models in laboratory conditions. No one will give us anything, what are we talking about... In real time? We're talking about robots. But they will have computational limitations. New architectures are needed for both AI and hardware for autonomous robots. Only after this can we talk about evolution to AGI. It seems we have already decided that this term is absolutely wrong. The term "AGI" is only important to prophets and priests. For engineers and enthusiasts, the architecture and evolution of AI within robotics are important.
jensen huang thought Astra 6 was AGI

i think the main thing missing is real-time learning and i haven't seen much progress there but maybe a good harness could simulate it well enough without true human-like learning

i also doubt they'd make it public once they figured it out

@TuckerCarlson In May you said that race, religion, and immigration are not “resonant issues” in the long term, and the real frustration among young people is that the tax code is unfair.

So which is it?
