Is it just me or does this paragraph from The Commanding Heights basically describe the first role of Network States gaining physical space?
"Of course, coordination between persons will remain an essential element of life at the top of the K. Human arrangements, voluntary and overlapping forms of access to benefits and protection from the vicissitudes of the world. The forms of exclusive and self-protective associative societies will look unlike any that have come before. Protection previously afforded by the state will be assumed by private firms, charging memberships. Those private providers will control a growing share of public security, transportation, education, and social exchange, reviving patronage of a form in response to reducing state capacity."
I'll see you in the eternal city friends.
Long live @praxisnation

@drydenwtbrownm@avizurloassembly point" for human, cultural, and ideological capital. Praxis is emerging as the new interface for engineering a new Western civilization — one destined to evolve into a Space Imperium. The foundational components are already in place: a cultural-ideological filter, a testing ground for a Post-AGI constitution, and an instrument for unlocking RWA liquidity.
I am convinced that to initiate, integrate into, and shape the transition to the space age, it is strategically vital to build the next city in a region suitable for orbital rocket launches. The heart of this next city must be a Spaceport and an Academy — just as in antiquity, the city center was the public square with merchants gathered at the temple walls. All of this must be orchestrated by Superintelligence. Laws must be replaced by algorithms that are automatically put to a vote and deprecated the moment they cease to drive growth. A new era demands a new cultural-technological nation — @praxisnation .

“There’s a lot of sidelined people and they require a huge amount of cope, so he will continue being a cope merchant. Being “wrong” is besides the point. Do people still need to cope with the fact that they missed the biggest investment theme of the last 100 years? Yes, so he’ll keep selling.”
I said this elsewhere but reposting as people seem to be surprised that Zitron hasn't crawled back into his hole since the Anthropic S1 came out and invalidated everything he has ever said:
He’s never going to stop, because he sells a valuable service (cope for the sidelined). There’s a lot of sidelined people and they require a huge amount of cope, so he will continue being a cope merchant. Being “wrong” is besides the point. Do people still need to cope with the fact that they missed the biggest investment theme of the last 100 years? Yes, so he’ll keep selling. He will eventually pivot to "AI is popular and makes money, but it's bad / exploitative / evil / dangerous," never once acknowledging that he was wrong on the bubble calling or the financial aspect.
So when you see Zitron on Jon Stewart taking an un-earned victory lap post Ant S1, understand that nothing he's doing or saying has any tether to financial reality or the business environment. There's millions of people out there that desperately need someone to affirm their beliefs (that AI is fraudulent / invalid / a bubble). He will do that for them.
It is of course useful to keep totting up his falsified predictions so that eventually the sheer weight of his idiocy becomes too much to resist, but I don't expect the sidelined will start reasoning rationally anytime soon; their objection is emotional, not empirical.

Very cool. Excited to see more in politics x ai.
Can AI forecast elections better than experts and prediction markets?
We built BallotBench to find out: a live benchmark where 9 frontier AI agents compete to predict the 2026 US midterms, from today through Election Day, Nov 3.
Follow along → ballotbench.com
Watch earch, revise their predictions, and make their calls all in live feeds.
