Austin Overn only played in 64 games this season, but that didn’t stop him from showing off his plus-plus speed. He stole 49 bases, only getting caught four times. Paired with 15 HR, he put together a very respectable campaign.

Overn does have strikeout concerns yet, has kept He has a rather selective approach, but doesn’t walk at an extremely effective rate. If he can manage to do that, he could add even more impact on the bases in the future.

Theo Gillen rose to be one of baseball’s best prospects this season after a 20/40 year between two levels. After hitting just five home runs last season, he went on a complete power surge to clear the 20-HR mark for the first time.

Gillen is about as well-rounded of a prospect e hits for consistent contact, offers plus raw power, and has game-breaking speed on the bases. He’s looking like a future centerpiece of the Rays batting order.

Cooper Flemming had an impressive full debut season at Low-A, rising into a top-100 prospect. He’s another Rays prospect that did a great job of limiting strikeouts, posting a 17.2% K% in over 500 PA.

Flemming made consistent contact and had no problem limiting swing-and-miss. A the ball to all fields, this is the type of prospect that will fit right into Tampa Bay’s Major League ball club when the time comes.

Venezuelan native Andreimi Antunez made his stateside debut in 2026 and put together a solid season. He showed some of the impressive raw power he possesses, hitting 10 HR, but hasn’t translated as much into game power yet.

What stood out more than anything was his ability to ned a 13% K% in the FCL this season, and in 30 games in Low-A to end the year, he had just a 20% K%. He’s an intriguing potential stock-riser to watch for in 2027.

Xavier Isaac continued to showcase his 80-grade raw power this season, hitting a career-high 27 HR. He paired them with 20 SB as well as an 18.8% BB%, which was good for top-10 in the system.

Isaac’s feel to lift the baseball as well as connecting with the barrel is elite. It velocities that have reached as far as the Triple-A level this season. His power could certainly help the Rays make another push to the Fall Classic.

Caden Bodine climbed the ladder this season in the Rays organization, moving all the way from Low-A to Triple-A to end the season. He was the only prospect in the system outside the DSL to hold his K% under 10% on the year.

Bodine’s power wasn’t non-existent either, as he hit 17 Contact% on the year was nearly at 90%, and with his almost stubborn nature to not strikeout despite an aggressive approach, this is an incredibly safe prospect.

Joshua Báez had a historic 2026 season, being one of two prospects in the system with the last name Báez to hit at least 30 HR. What was even more notable, was his three-HR MLB debut at Wrigley Field.

While Báez didn’t lead the Cardinals organization in home runs, he did lead els at lifting the ball for pull-air contact, with nearly 20% of his fly-balls leaving the yard this season. He’s a 2027 breakout candidate for St. Louis.

Sebastian Dos Santos was a standout DSL prospect last season, and followed it up with a strong stateside debut. He posted a 142 wRC+ with a 19.6% BB% in 27 games in the complex before playing the majority of games in Low-A this year.

While in Low-A, Dos Santos would post a 94th 29.3%. His Whiff% was slightly below average, yet he made good swing decisions to limit chase and walk at an effective rate. A name to circle for the future.

Jesús Báez has been an intriguing prospect for a while, but since coming to the Cardinals, the organization he has really started to excel. In his first full year in the organization, he hit 39 HR, the most in the system.

His time in Double-A is where he stood out even more. He keeping his K% at 16% while batting .316. The profile is well-rounded besides the limited walks, as he makes consistent contact with big-time pop.

A native of Venezuela, Miguel Hernández would make his stateside debut in 2026, and put together a strong campaign between two levels. He was one of two Cardinals prospects with at least 200 plate appearances to have a BB% over 20%.

Hernández hit for a solid amount of power as at the complex, and added two more in Low-A for 11, with 18 stolen bases. While a lower contact rate is a concern, he’s been very productive in walking at the clip he did.

A third round draft pick in 2025, Jack Gurevitch played in his first full professional season, being the only Cardinals prospect without the last name Báez to hit at least 30 HR. He paired it with the second most RBI in the system with 96.

Gurevitch has swing-and-miss concerns, ng with the amount he hits for power. He’s already shown impressive exit velocities, and if he can improve on the overall whiff, he can continue to boost his stock in 2027.
