PHP thing explained to my relatives: So there’s a computer language called PHP that every single Wordpress, Magento and Joomla website and many other websites(allegedly still around 70% of those online) are written in - some security guys found 2 random bugs in it that meant hackers could in-theory theoretically possibly gain access to any server with it on. Like the Land Rover website might get hacked 😮 oh yes I know their whole IT/warehouse systems got shutdown for 5wks this year with the biggest ransom-wared hack in history this year but with the PHP thing the hackers might get some passwords and cause emails in-breach of GDPR to be sent 🤔 Anyway the PHP code-fixers had to warn everyone what they’d found cos it was sooooo serious and they even did this whilst they were fixing the bugs to make it even more exciting & dramatic & so people could prepare to install the patch(aka update) asap cos once it came out hackers could possibly use AI to start using it to hack websites. The UK NCSC(National Computer Red-Alert Folks), French government etc jumped on this news telling people to shutdown and pull the plug pronto on their entire websites until things were sorted out and making it almost as terrifying as the “wind warning” we had today, yes nearly as much as the MetOffice warning us about it being 26degs last year. Luckily though the fix updates came out quite quickly in the end, well, unless you were like me and half your sites had to wait overnight for that ondrej bloke’s builds to finish. Everything is fine now and thankfully no hackers have managed to use the bugs yet after all, it’s also raining in London today 😅 ☔️

A mother was referred to Prevent and visited by police at home because of her visit to Israel and her interest in“Jewish issues”.

In yet another shocking case, Holly Passmore, a mother of two from County Durham, was visited at home last July by two plain-clothes police officers she had recently travelled to Israel.

The officers told Ms Passmore, who cares for her severely autistic nine-year-old son, that it was a “safeguarding issue”.

A police intelligence report seen by The Telegraph reveals that the referral said she “over-identified with the conflict between Israel and Palestine” and was “supportive of Israel to the point that she has travelled to Israel”. It also described her as having “MH” — meaning mental health — issues and being “vulnerable to negative influence”.

Three days after the visit, Ms Passmore lodged a complaint. Two more officers, including a superintendent, then came to her home.

“They said that, clearly, I’m not a terrorist,” she recalled, explaining that they were keen to reassure her that police did not consider her a threat or an extremist.

“I thought that was strange at the time. You don’t usually end up with a superintendent on your couch.”

Ms Passmore’s concerns deepened when she discovered that her NHS records had been updated to describe her as a “vulnerable adult”, before later being changed to say she was no longer vulnerable.

It is now even more clear that Prevent is being weaponised by activists to silence people for their lawful and legitimate views.

These vexatious complaints also waste police time and resources.
