@guettli @mborus One of the main things of async/await is the explicitness of 'a race *might* happen here' at any await statement. Taking that away mostly takes one back to threading :(

@TshumaLavender This usually means that the backlight is broken, there's two lights that shine light from behind onto your screen so you can see whats on it. If it works sometimes it might be a broken cable, maybe jiggle the screen around a bit to see if they come on.
