🚨 Israeli strike destroys Gaza school educating 350 children
An overnight Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Saftawi area of Jabaliya, northern Gaza, destroyed the nearby Al-Zahraa makeshift tent school, which provided free education to approximately 350 e Little Smile Kindergarten. The strike also damaged a camp sheltering displaced Palestinian families.
“All the desks and educational tents were destroyed. Even the stationery we had for students and teachers was ruined,” Mousa Zaqout, a teacher, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah. He said the volunteer-run school provided free education to children from the camp and surrounding areas.
“There is no ceasefire or anything like that on the ground,” Zaqout added. “Every hour, every moment, there is bombing and destruction.”
Gaza’s Ministry of Education condemned the destruction of the two educational facilities, describing Israel’s continued targeting of schools as part of a systematic destruction of education in Gaza.

Bukele and Fils-Aimé can dress this up as a “bilateral deal” but that doesn’t make it legitimate, the nominal head of the Haitian gov’t doesn’t have a democratic mandate (and elections were just postponed yet again), this looks like a military occupation more than anything else.
The Haitian and Salvadoran governments issued statements last night after @nayibbukele and @citoyendidier spoke about the ongoing deployment. A few takeaways:
- There are more than 2,000 troops on the ground
- This is a bilateral deal, the two must have signed a Status of Forces doesn't even acknowledge the UN-authorized GSF
- This clearly is a longer-term deployment well beyond "search and resuce"

🚨 TODAY: Settler-terrorists attacked Andrey, Jasper and me. This video shows the assault.
Andrey was severely beaten and lost consciousness several times in front of police. Despite this, he was denied hospital treatment. He was put in an ambulance—but instead of being taken to to a police station.
He is still there, arrested and being denied medical care.
