This is the exact kind of fascistic thuggery that Bukele and copycats have employed to jail journalists, dismantle NGOs, defund universities, gut Congress and the Courts, and call all opposition "narcoterrorists." This is vile, disgusting stuff. One of the criminals of history.
Bombs?

Our mission doesn't even have bombs at its disposal.

Aerial bombardments? Helicopter gunship attacks?

Our attack helicopters didn't arrive in Haiti until October 29. Their arrival was widely covered by the media, with plenty of videos and social media posts documenting was published a day before our helicopters even arrived. And as of today, they haven't flown a single mission.

These NGOs lie with impunity, while wielding enormous influence over international organizations.

They are nothing more than lobbying firms for criminals and cartels, masquerading as humanitarian organizations.

🇻🇪 Venezuelan acting President Delcy Rodríguez said the government will offer "non-essential" state assets to private investors or return them to their former owners, reversing nationalizations carried out under Hugo Chávez.

The process "is already well advanced," Rodríguez said in a televised address Thursday, without naming which assets. A commission she appointed in April is auditing state holdings in energy, power and mining. Parliament is close to partially privatizing the electricity sector, foreign firms are in talks to buy the country's largest aluminum smelter, and an oil consortium is seeking several industrial plants, Venezuelanalysis reported.

Reminder: Bukele's success is based on negotiating deals with gangs and allying with them to root out competition. He really does not want anyone to know, as it hurts his "tough-on-crime dictator" image and power grab. Just ask Ruth López and El Faro.

Bukele changes his tune after Trump says Salvadoran "medical staff" are dead. That was the whole reason for this "rescue mission."

Bukele said his 4 "medical staff" deployed to Haiti were not killed. Trump says they were killed. If they are dead it means this whole "rescue operation" was a ruse to just invade Haiti.
Trump just confirmed @axios reporting (below) about his conversation with @nayibbukele

Is this what passes as intellectual discourse on LatAm foreign policy on the right? Completely braindead.

Dictators and dictator supporters calling social democrats "dictators". Very rich.
“That’s what Latin American dictators do.” Ted Cruz RIPS Lula’s treatment of political opponents and questions what USAID was funding.

“I want leaders of other countries to like America and not hate America.”

After Cruz’s argument, Bill Maher turns to Mamdani:

“Mamdani is a say things like we want to take over key industries, we want to take over the means of production without being… that’s what communism is.”

🇸🇻🇭🇹 Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele denied a Haitian diaspora group's claim that his forces have been bombing civilians near Port-au-Prince, saying the mission "doesn't even have bombs" and that its attack helicopters didn't arrive in Haiti until Oct. 29, the day after the group's letter, and "haven't flown a single mission."

Five Salvadoran helicopters landed in the neighboring Dominican Republic on Oct. 28, Diario Libre reported. Bukele wrote that "these NGOs lie with impunity" and are "nothing more than lobbying firms for criminals and cartels, masquerading as humanitarian organizations."

Salvadoran troops were in Haiti well before the surge, with at least 78 serving in the UN-authorized Gang Suppression Force since early 2025, according to official figures. Bukele's deployment, now more than 2,000 troops, came on top of that.

The advocacy group United Nations Association-Haiti's letter cited no death toll or specific incidents, and its claims have not been independently confirmed. But the area has seen air operations. After gangs ambushed four Salvadoran aviation technicians with the force in Croix-des-Bouquets on Oct. 18, the force and Haitian police launched a helicopter-backed offensive in the surrounding Plaine du Cul-de-Sac.

Haiti's government has also waged a drone war around the capital through a task force working with Vectus Global, a private military company run by Blackwater founder Erik Prince, who has said it hired Salvadoran operators to support Haitian police in using armed drones. Its strikes killed at least 1,243 people between March 2025 and January 2026, according to Human Rights Watch, which found 17 children and 43 adults had no gang ties and could not verify gang affiliation for the other 1,183. Croix-des-Bouquets is among the areas hit.

Priorities of the Dems after midterms should be to 1) Investigate US ties to Bukele dictatorship, 2) Cut all funding, arms, and aid to Bukele, 3) Force stop the Haiti warmongering, 4) Close CECOT and release political prisoners, and 5) Rein this absolute monster into line.

Carney's "New World Order" schtick is a façade to perpetuate Western hegemony. Sovereignty only extends to Canada and the West. For Iran, Gaza, Cuba, or Venezuela, Canada will gladly continue to back imperialism.

The American people deserve answers about why the Trump Administration is harboring an election denier and fraudster.

@repdinatitus and I are leading a probe into how the State Department helped Flávio Bolsonaro flee Brazil and why he was granted a U.S. visa.

So is Rubio admitting the Trump admin gave a criminal a visa and couldn't stop him from entering the US? Sounds like the GOP has lost control of the border.
The US government played no role in facilitating Flávio Bolsonaro's arrival, Secretary Rubio just said. "He previously held a visa and the president made the decision to allow him into our country," Rubio added in Atlanta when asked by EFE's @eduribbas.

That's the "Liberal Party" of Brazil is neo-fascist, and "National Socialists" of Germany are far-right.

They did the same thing to the USSR after the fall. These are vultures who would rather rape and pillage countries for parts, and blame failures on socialism (while actively pushing countries to the brink with sanctions and isolation), than letting them decide their own path.
