i’m embarking on probably one of the busiest phases of my life.
i’m essentially working on two brands IRL:
• Rume Bottega - a social & culture lifestyle brand, but i’m focused on brand strategy and event curation.
• AMU Matcha - my brother-in-law’s matcha business whom i’m alsond brand strategy.
then, on the digital side of things, i’m locked in on my own personal brand and building BrandOS into a full fledged business.
some days, i feel like i got this. other days (like yesterday) i feel like quitting and questioning my own life.
but i remind myself these are good problems to have and others would love to be in my spot.
i hope my journey continues to inspire those around me to never stop chasing after their dreams.

Good morning!!
Story time
Last week, my daughters’ softball team’s starting pitcher fractured her arm. With a tournament this weekend, the coach asked my girls to step in. Neither has ever pitched before! At practice last night, their coach explained the pressure they’d face eing resilient. She asked if they knew what that meant. They said no. She explained it means never giving up, even when things get hard.
One of my daughters responded, “Oh, so like my dad.”
Man, I’d be lying if I said that didn’t make me damn proud. Sometimes we forget just how much our kids are watching. Win or lose this weekend, they’ve already made me proud.

BEST NEWS EVER! No cancer cells found in my nodes! 🥹🙏🩵
Thank you so much for sending me well wishes and keeping me in your thoughts! I really appreciate it! 🫂
Still have radiation and some other preventative meds to do BUT preventative is the key word.
Now it’s about ce of not having a recurrence. And having no cancer cells left is the best first outcome.
I am so happy and relieved!

I don’t know the cancer results from my surgery yet, but I’m kind of enjoying this state of not knowing.
Before more appointments and treatments decisions and possible disappointments or extreme relief I am grateful to just be present in the moment.

I'm having fun with NFTs again. Picked up a @DedGorgez - art is dope and the team is active. Plus this is a great one for Halloween.

take note of how people respond to you
you should think twice when you share
something that brings you joy & is also
bringing you forward in life for it to then
be met with both opposition & criticism
you’d be appalled to hear how often this
happens, but we all know many won’t go
out & share this on the timeline publicly
so maybe it’s time to question those who
claim are close friends of yours, but then
make you feel guilty, bash you negatively,
& make it a focus you dismiss open doors
there’s no more time to be quiet & let the
same people go on to continue these
tendencies repeatedly over many months
find those who have your back always
find those who celebrate your daily wins
find those who better you in everyday life
don’t wait to remove yourself from snakes

i’m not claiming to have it all figured out
but please think twice about approaching
someone with minimal to no prior dialogue
to then immediately jump in with a request
it amazes me how often people just come
& go as they please to then expect others
to give precious resources towards them
maybe consider providing something of
value from the start instead of going
immediately to a request right off the bat
if you’re rocking with me great, i’ll be there
& i’ll do what i can to be there for you too
because i believe in genuine connections
but don’t mistake my heart & my kindness
for others as something i’ll dish out with
lack of awareness where i’ll foolishly go
drop everything for you when you haven’t
take any sort of interest in what i’m about
yes there’s to a degree of transactional
interactions that do happen here often,
but i’d rather do things in tandem with
the right people over extended timelines
where there’s a win win dynamic for all
here’s to many years ahead of investing
into the right people who want to see
you win just as you desire them to win
i’m over the half effort nonsense dynamics

It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share Dre boy crossed the rainbow bridge today.
He touched more lives than you can imagine.
He travelled over 15,000km with me.
I took Dre on during Covid at the lowest point in my life when I had some pretty bad things happen. life.
I don’t have a partner and don’t have kids.
He was my baby.
He’s seen more of Australia than most dogs will ever see in their lifetime, brightened more people’s day than any dog I’ve ever seen.
I’m so grateful his last few days earth side were the best I could have possibly given him, given his condition.
Our family vet of over 30 years made the experience today as best as possible.
He had his full personality these last days, after a shocking start to the week.
His last meal was about 50 chocolate freckles which he gobbled up hastily.
I don’t have much more to say right now, it’s been a really tough day.
But I’ve started putting together a video I’ll always have to remember him by - I have over 5,500 bits of media that my iPhone found when I searched “bulldog”.
I’ll share this with time.
Dre
17.11.15 - 23.10.26
10 years, 11 months.
I love you my Dre boy, thanks for the last 6 years of nothing but unconditional love 🩷
PS: I am so eternally grateful for the warm messages over this past week, especially to those of you who have been checking in on me daily (you know who you are).
