A great Windows experience starts with strong fundamentals and is ultimately defined by the moments people experience every day.

Our latest Windows 11 updates build on the foundational work we're doing across the product. They include more seamless phone-to-PC integration, a ience, a new Search experience, and new features for gamers. All designed to make everyday moments on your PC simpler and more intuitive.

@pavandavuluri if phone-to-pc breaks after sleep, reconnect reliability matters more than adding features

@sebuzdugan Thanks for the feedback, Sebastian. Reliability is a top priority for us. We continue to invest in improving connectivity reliability and speed, including when your PC wakes up and reconnects to your phone. I'll make sure the team sees this as well.

@pavandavuluri Great work as always this year! That's awesome, but could we please also get a reliability update for Clipboard and the Snipping Tool? Especially the latter gets stuck at least five times a day which is annoying as specially when you do annotations

@Dave_UX Thanks, David. Appreciate the specific feedback. Reliability is an important part of the work we’re driving across Windows, and we want to understand where experiences aren’t meeting that bar. Tagging @JenMsft @alecoot from the team to dig into this further.

@pavandavulurien part of the Microsoft ecosystem since the early 1980s — long before Windows existed. I started on pure command‑line systems: Microsoft DOS, Apple II, Amiga, C64, TI‑99/4A. No GUI, no mouse, just raw computing and writing my own menu programs to make life easier. I stayed with Dndows 95 because the earlier Windows versions didn’t fit the way I worked.

Over the decades, I upgraded Windows for many reasons — curiosity, innovation, workflow improvements. But Windows 11 was the first time I upgraded purely for IT support reasons rather than personal excitement.

Windows 10 was the peak of my workflow. The tile system was brilliant, and when the Windows Phone ecosystem was discontinued, I moved to Android but still use an app today that recreates that same tile experience. Third‑party tools like Start11 pushed that even further and kept the spirit of user‑driven customization alive What Windows used to be all about user choice user control. It's one of the many reasons adoption of Windows 11 took longer than normal and definitely sold 100's of Start 11 for the ones who upgraded in the business sector as they hated upgrading to windows 11 having to learn all over again.

Windows 11, for me, felt like a mashup of Mac/Linux/Android design (instead of being original) that removed a lot of the customization and control Windows used to give power users. It forced a new workflow instead of letting the user choose their own. I still explore the native interface from time to time, but Start11 is what keeps Windows usable in the way I’ve relied on for decades.

On the other hand, Copilot has been a bright spot. I’ve used it for over a year now and watched it evolve into something genuinely impressive (trying to clone myself with AI) 😹. It’s become a core part of my multimodal AI workflow — alongside Grok, Claude, DeepSeek, and others — as I build video games, music, movies, and books. The progress there has been remarkable and continues to impress. Just waiting on Windows 11 to do the same... tic toc tic toc.

Give me an interface that’s fun again — one I can truly customize to my workflow, A TRUE Return to form that many businesses are already doing around the world then I may be excited to jump in. You’re heading in that direction kind of so far, and I’m keeping an eye on the changes while I focus on my new creative adventures across the Microsoft ecosystem. Just waiting for Windows 11 to impress me like Copilot did.... Now where is Cortana, Master Chief, and Sgt Johnson personalities? Would be an awesome way to bring a whole new level of fun to Copilot and open up more 3rd party IP'S selling personas from across other studios, Disney, etc. Guess you can lead a horse to water...

Eagerly waiting to be surprised in a good way for a change 😹😎😁 Now a bit from Luna and me going back to home base, take a break, and play some games. Have a blessed day :)

@pavandavuluri And yet you guys still haven't removed the force sign in when installing a fresh windows. Also since the new start menu if you remove the list of all app there's no button like the old menu to show all apps. So the user still relies on 3rd party software to fix your mess.

@pavandavuluri able to start - search for a contact in Outlook, 4 keys to find a contact, like I could back in 2010, the day they took it away my productivity died.

LOVE the OneDrive Photos app, finally Mom's and regular folks can make and share a photo album. Put the IOS link in there and you have something.

Also Quick Assist continues to lose the connection OFTEN. Keep helping regular folks; the Fortune 500 gets more than enough attention from you guys.

@pavandavuluri As a gamer, the only feature I've cared about since before Windows 11 launched, and kept me off W11 for as long as I could stay (I was forced to update to W11 or stop getting device support), is and was "let me move my taskbar to my second screen". You still haven't fixed it.
