if your products don’t live up to the hype, it’s over.
AI is so, so good.
I bought a pair of VIVO Barefoot shoes in Abu Dhabi 2 weeks ago for 850 AED (~$230).
I absolutely loved wearing them (you should try them!). But 2 days later, the back of one shoe broke.
Instant love-hate relationship.
So I spun up an AI agent, gave it the asked it to get me a replacement delivered to my door. Or a refund if that wasn’t possible.
Life went on. I forgot about it.
Today, I checked my bank and noticed 850 AED had landed in my account.
I opened the agent’s chat to see what happened:
1. The agent requested a replacement delivered to my door.
2. The store had stock, but Cyprus delivery stalled.
3. The agent escalated to regional and global support.
4. The store refused international exchange. The agent pushed for a remote refund.
5. The requested reply deadline passed. No answer.
6. The agent prepared Wise dispute evidence as backup. The store eventually processed the refund.
7. The money landed.
It’s crazy that I can have an army of superintelligent agents fighting for me, 24/7, while I get on with my life.
The downside: a lot of people are going to abuse this. Filing a claim has become so easy.

One thing I love about AI is how it just removes barriers.
Me: “I’m trying to make this work, but I think I’d need an app for that. I have absolutely no idea how to build one.”
AI: “No problem. I’ll build it.”
And then it does.
There’s an actual working app sitting there.
Still blows my mind.

Out walking the dog whilst talking to ChatGPT to design some Instagram templates in canva for local events.
Meanwhile, at home, the robot vacuum is hoovering and mopping the floors, so it’s nice and clean when we get back.
Loving this timeline.

Just built an automated local events newsletter…
Apify ➡️ ChatGPT ➡️ email
Nothing special about that except I did it by voice whilst unloading the dishwasher.

trying out Tab and it successfully booked me a bear trim at my usual place with the usual guy. but as doesn't have access to my iCloud email and calendar (which I use for all personal / family stuff) it's not as useful as chatgpt which can.
but it made the booking off the back of a voice note with no further input from me.

Finding this true for boring personal admin. Used to drag on until I had no choice to do it. Now I just talk to AI and delegate whilst out walking the dog.
AI made me 10x more productive, and the reason is my ADHD.
I'm a big picture guy. The small boring tasks never gave me any dopamine, so they piled up.
I spent my whole life teaching myself frameworks just to force my way through them.
AI changed that. Now I say what I want, watch it get done in seconds, and get the hit of finishing something.
The boring work stopped being torture. It's actually fun now.

the best lead magnets were always things you could use right away.
makes sense that specialized prompts would do well.
makes sense that specialized prompts would do well.
The lead magnet of 2027 isn't a PDF. It’s a prompt.
Nobody reads the 40 page retirement guide anymore.
But "paste your 401k holdings into this prompt and see how much of it rides on 5 stocks" actually gets used. And shared.
Cheap to test too. 10 prompts = 10 lead magnets.

Only thing worse than AI replies on socials is AI replies in a community. I mean come on, that’s where you’re supposed to be yourself.

i know this feeling - similar timeline for me.
feels like there’s opportunity everywhere, but can’t quite get on board with any of it.
standing in the headlights, frozen, watching it all happen.
weird few months

what feels like a good business direction then doesnt.

Am in Florence and I’m surprised at how chill and safe it feels.
It was much worse last time I was here in 2009
