They viewed normies who voted for cheaper gas and less censorship as a sincere religious conversion.
I see many in my timeline calling voters NPCs who only care about porn and defense mechanism because blaming the voters' morals lets them avoid admitting that pushing purity tests and internet ID laws drove away their winning margin.
When they lash with threats such as good luck with your kid transitioning or your wife getting an abortion, they say this because they can only view the world through collective enforcement, they cannot compute personal agency. When one says you can protect your own kid without needing the state, the christnat hears apathy because he thinks only state power solves problems.
They hate individualism but individualism scales down while collectivism does not
What i mean is a self-reliant normie treats politics defensively, if democrats win, the self reliant guy can still raise his family, manage his money, and use a VPN. He does not need the state's validation to live his life.
